On July 1, 2022, Racine County Sheriff’s deputies observed a driver not wearing his seat belt in Raymond, WI. Upon making contact, he immediately put on his seat belt, affirming that it had been on the whole time. Nevertheless, it was only a few moments before he realized his fate.
The purpose of the featured content is to show the law enforcement interaction. It is NOT to publicly shame, ridicule, or degrade the individuals involved. All these other people arrested after high speed pursuits and possession of drugs, etc.; only to be given 1000$ cash bond. Yeah, it's only $10 ticket here in WI for an adult not wearing a seatbelt... The downside to this is that WI does this "Click it or Ticket" thing were they will actually set up zones with cops on the side of the road to catch drivers without seatbelts and they will radio to squad cars down the road to pull them over and WI is one of the states were not wearing a seatbelt is a primary offense meaning you can be pulled over just for that reason. Fun fact New Hampshire doesn't even have a law for people over 18 being required to wear a seatbelt.
