@Britz1393 Looks like this is Melbourne. In certain parts of the city, the tram is free (The Free Tram Zone). The first stop is probably just before that zone. He didn't have any money on that card, do he ran to the next stop which is free so he could use his card!

И в то время, пока автобус объезжает микрорайон, делает ещё одну остановку и стоит на светофоре, ты относительно быстрым шагом проходишь сквозь этот микрорайон, перебегаешь дорогу без зебры и как раз успеваешь на следующую остановку к тому моменту, как автобус на неё прибудет. Ну и оставшуюся часть пути он уже тебя везёт до куда надо)
Пояснительная бригада: дело происходит в Мельбурне Австралия. У парня льготная карта для бесплатного проезда, но она действует не на всём маршруте , а только на определённых остановках. Поэтому ему пришлось бежать до следующей.
