MAN'S ESCAPE THROUGH OHIO HOTEL WINDOW GOES WRONG | Double Toasted Bites - A man named Onjre George (for pronunciation's sake, just say Andre George) was seen in a video trying to escape through a window after Blue Ash police was investigating a kidnapping, and the weird and crazy news headline of this, moreso than the awful story itself, is actually because of the man jumping into and bouncing off his escape plan, and it's.. pretty hilarious to see.

If you've ever accidentally bang your elbow or any part of your body against actual glass, you will realize it's not only quite hard and painful but it would not be anywhere near the 'clean' break you see in movies and therefore quite dangerous if you somehow manage to break through.

more than that, this took place on the sixth floor of a hotel. modern hotels install thick tempered glass to prevent people from accidentally or intentionally going out and through them. the cop knew the suspect was boxed in, even if he was willing to risk grievous injury or death jumping from multiple stories

People don't understand that tempered glass is damn near unbreakable. Not even stunt men in movies can break through them. They have to plant a small explosive charge in the corner of those things and break them milliseconds before the stuntmen run through them or else you might as well run into a brick wall.

@@TheOneManWhoBeatYou Prop glass or sugar glass is great for small props like bottles but for large windows, it's safer to use tempered glass because those things shatter into tiny pieces so your actors and stuntmen won't have to worry about giant slabs of razor sharp material.

I looked the story up. As he turned to go to the room the girl was shaking as she walked behind him . The desk clerk (who was short ) noticed and mouthed to her "are you ok, do you need help?" she shook her head no & blinked twice for yes. That's when she called police.
