The clean cut look is definitely the best one. I love a beard on a man providing it is under control, clean and well groomed. I appreciate his initial appearance was for a role but it was very much the cave man look.
Well, everyone has an opinion. I, personally, like longer hair on a man if it suits him. This guy looks good either way. He seems to be pleased. That's the goal.
Listen, this guy is blessed with good looks. The guy looks great with a beard and hair long and he looks great with a clean cut look. What's really important is the type of person he is. What kind of heart he has.
Would have loved it if the hair was a longer because he has gorgeous hair but the beard gone is fabulous... you are fantastic looking man...sort of combination Ben and Ryan look...so glad that you believe in Jesus... what a wonderful tribute
You look AT LEAST 15 years younger and are way more handsome than Ben Affleck AND Ryan Reynolds could ever hope to be. And Kelly at Oakridge Barbers rocks!!
I'm in awe, this is the best makeover I have ever seen. It took years off of this man. Such a handsome face, the hair and beard took a lot away from this man. He is beautiful.
The kids reaction is so genuine! You can tell that they'll both warm up to your new look by the smiles on their faces. Word to acknowledge the new look but smiles = approval. 👍🏼 And Kellie, the barber, did an excellent job! 👏🏼
@@curiouscat3384 Why is totally irrelevant, I agree with Lisa 100%, he looked terrible with the hair/beard, unclean, I have a lot of empathy for people who through no fault of their own have become homeless and crushed by an economy that is destroying lives, but I would not have wanted to get within 10 feet of the before no matter what his reasons were for growing it out. But, to want to look like that intentionally is just bizarre. So please take the exclamations points and put them back where you pulled them out of.

You look absolutely amazing clean cut. Very strong, masculine jaw line and expressive eyes. It was admirable indeed, the reason you grew the beard and a great honor to portray our savior!
The reaction of your daughter is priceless. Not sure how long you had the beard, but she does look fairly young so it may just be with the beard is how she knows her Dad. Thanks for sharing your faith and your story of why you had grown it out. Both look nice.

@@mrcvry No, I have always loved the clean-cut look... long before I ever cut hair. Since I was a kid, my biggest pet peeves have been mullets, comb-overs, and long beards! I just love the whole manicured look... from a haircut to fashion, home design, landscaping, and everything in between!
@@mrcvry I know, lol! I started out as a barber on a Navy base and currently work in a barbershop near the state trooper barracks and my husband's firehouse... I do lots of high and tight haircuts, but not many beard trims. One of the troopers comes and gets a skin fade flattop every 5 days.... religiously!
Wow. Kelly really is talented. I didn’t know that men even cared that they would have multiple styles. I’m impressed. I vote the after look definitely!!!! I would have liked to see his wife’s reaction.

I bet your girls had to come up and feel your face in wonder. My daughter did that when my husband took of his facial hair. I love long hair & neatly trimmed beards but this transformation, even though he has short hair & no facial hair, is phenomenal! That handsome face should never be completely covered ever again!! You look 20 years younger!!!
I am reminded of those videos where the lawn man trims an overgrown yard with waist deep grass and grown over sidewalks. He weed whacks it all away and it looks like a nice home again.
In my opinion, you’ve gone from someone in their early sixties to someone in their early to mid twenties. YOU LOOK FORTY YEARS YOUNGER!!!! I am intensely JEALOUS!
You look like a whole different person! You definitely look a lot a lot better with the beard off and the shorter hair. I bet your wife is very very happy with the results!
I think both looks have their pros and cons. You also could have had a haircut without cutting away so much and your beard trimmed. That would have been a very good option which I would have prefered.
