This was so depressing to watch. Ronnie is amazing, I have no true words for his tenacity and determination to do whatever it takes to support his family.

Not many people would commute 4 hours to and from hell no one would accept him, I hope you get a car what a great man

This is what i call a real man. He is worth doing anything for. His wife is one lucky woman.

Ronny is such a good example of what a hard working man does for his family regardless of him being tired he does what he needs to do to provide them.

I wish my dad was like this man.. I grew up living in poverty, unnecessarily. This man is the perfect example of an amazing human being. "I have responsibilities." He doesn't even get jealous the least bit... He's trying to make a better life for his children. That's how we all should think.

I have a lot of tremendous respect for this man. My commute is 2 hours to and from work and i think that is too long. His will power of getting up every morning is just amazing

The part about Mr. Ronny, bought me to tears. I know exactly how it is like not having your own personal transportation and to rely on public transportation. One day, I was scheduled to come to work when the weather was pouring down raining, but I was determined in mind and heart that I wasn't going to let nothing stop me from going to work. I too, also have responsibilities. I really hope and pray that he will be blessed with his own vehicle someday. God Bless him and his family.

I only live 15mi away from my workplace and I spend 2 hours getting to work by bus every day. I feel so determined like this man...

Yo, I walk 6.4 miles to work everyday to support mines. Cold, wind, rain, doesnt matter. I HAVE to. I'm lucky to get a ride home but at 2am I have to get up outta my sleep to make sure we all have a place to lay our head at night

Since the recession I have relocated twice and went to truck driving and trade school to improve my situation in the last 6 years. He is loading trucks I lived in Atlanta in the nineties when the economy was great I was able to go back to school an get a degree. Relocate there are many better places with better opportunities before you get to old Ronnie,

My friend did that to work in harrods ( most expensive shop in London) and walked 4 hours to work, her feet were covered in blisters it was so sad

Come to Toronto Canada and it's surrounding suburbs, that 4 bedroom home worth 360000 is easily 700 hundred plus.

Same thing in developing countries. Some of my subordinates had to leave at 3 am to be there at 7 am, they would be back home at 10 pm. All that for about the equivalent of US$ 400. And my boss would be mad at me for not being hard enough on them if they arrived late from time to time. Yep, there is something wrong, but everywhere.

It takes him an 8 hour shift to get to work, then who knows how long he's at work for. Probably a 16 hour+ day for him.

Yea, something profound has changed. Politicians got involved in our personal lives. Manufacturing jobs have been moved to other countries due to lower wages and it just keeps getting worse.

This story was based in Northern California and this is the sad reality. The cost of rent in Burlingame and all around the Bay Area is insanely high. But people are willing to pay to live in the safe neighborhoods because now even the dangerous neighborhoods have gotten pricey because of the demand . The guy commuting by bike, train and bus everyday just needs to find a job near home, for the train and bus he is probably spending $20 a day to get to work and barely getting sleep it's not worth it .

This is not about the rich vs poor. This is completely about government regulations that make building homes expensive. Is not just the permitting process. This starts with cutting trees and manufacturing the pipes and all the parts needed to build a home. It is also about preparing land to build and all the tests and permits needed before a house can ever be built. Another reason that home prices are so high is the fact that many people buy cheap homes for rentals.

This is fucking sad. This guy deserves so much respect! I wish someone would help him out with a car

Whose been buying up the properties. We found it was anyone with pooled money, like new comers or visitors. It drove the prices sky high. We in Canada have put some restrictions on purchases.

My aunts house $15,000 - Broadmoor drive, San José, California.

Don't be that surprised on that, same thing in China near big city. Even with intercity high speed rail it is still a beast 200km commuting. And if the system is down it is virtually a terrible situation.
