Yeah, if you notice he was crying. Its seem that he has really trusting on tsetseg and finally she broke the trust. Hwang geum ju and nam soon didnt knew with whom they are fighting right now (even he is warmheart man, but he grew up with mafia)

Despite his upbringing, he had a choice. If you remember as a child he had a friend who always tried to protect him. However, that friend had the same upbringing but that friend chose the right path. He's the one working with Oppulentia and NamSoon's mom againt Risyo to clean their country of drugs. Everyone has a choice. His heart softened because of NamSoon but he continued same path, didn't change.

She didn't make him a villain. He was one long before he ever met her. She didn't stab him. He developed feelings for her, but she never led him to think she wanted a romantic relationship, and up to now they didn't have much of a relationship out of work. Now he's dangerous? his drug has killed tens of thousands, are you kidding? that wasn't dangerous?

The writers tried s little to late in the series, to build a romantic relationship between the ML and Tsegtse. I became so accustomed to seeing Se-o and Tsegtse together, it seems as though there was chemistry (even though it was one-sided and she was just being sociable to gain access to his business register) that seeing her with the ML seemed out of place.
Again, he was not betrayed. She never led him on to think there was anything between them. She went there with one purpose only to get evidence to take down him or whoever the drug lord was. I don't feel sorry for him, I feel sorry for the thousands who died because of the drug he created and distributed for the sake of greed.
@@borasora I watched the show. He was forced, just like his childhood friend was forced. I'm pretty sure his childhood friend is the guy from Oppulentia working with NamSoon's mom. If true, that shows they each had a choice. His friend chose his own path apart from Pavel and any evil doings. Sio chose to stay on the path Pavel set for him. He had a horrible childhood, but he had a choice and he's not innocent. He's distributing drugs that don't just give a high, but kill people. He's trying to separate from Pavel, but even then not for a good reason, he's selling an antidote only rich can afford all others die. That makes him a drug lord and murderer.

She was there with one mission, to find evidence and shut him down (his narcotics business). If we were besties and I seduced your boyfriend, that's betrayal. If we were coworkers and friends and you were up for a promotion but I lied to the higher ups so I could get it, that's betrayal. What undercover cops do isn't betrayal.
When a villain's heart breaks he is sure dangerous but tbh I never really considered him to be a real 'villain' and I'm actually frustrated with namsoon bec she knew his circumstances and she could have tried to make him understand but she just turned a blind eye to his situations
Do you mean he wasn't dangerous before? All the drugs that killed tens of thousands aren't reason enough to consider him dangerous? Namsoon was there for one purpose, she was working undercover. She didn't fall for him, she wanted evidence and they wanted to take down whoever was responsible for the tens of thousands that died because of the drug.

Where is that friend now? while Risyo chose a path of evil, his friend chose a path of good. I saw a story that I think said it all, two brothers grew up with an alcoholic father. One grew up to be a successful businessman who didn't drink. The other grew up just like his dad to be an alcoholic. When asked why? the answer both gave was the same "I watched my Dad". However, one watched and made a decision, I don't want that! While the other just followed Daddy's footsteps, never stopping to think he had a choice. He chose to follow Dad's footsteps. So Shio and his friend had the same horrible upbringing, but they chose different paths because one saw the horrors and wanted a better life, not one of crime. The other just continued path set before him.
Damn! He's such a Great actor. From a cute loving smile to a lethal smirk, from a soft hearted lover to a dangerous villain, he just nailed his character in all the possible aspects. His control on his expressions is the best part of his acting. No doubt, what a phenomenal actor he is! 🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥

I don't think he can hate her. He might still like her. And who knows?! The writers are unbelievable!!! How come Nam Soon doesn't have any empathy towards him not even for a second? Her character is soooooooo poorly written and whatever she does is not cute at all. But hats off to the actors!!! They did their job well.

She's sweet, she is somewhat naive, and she has a childlike innocence, these are all traits that have him falling for her, not the outward appearance. At first, it was because of her strength, but it's her character traits, that cutesy way she has that puts a smile on his face. I love her! Those are character traits more people need, we'd have a better world. She has such a positive outlook on life. All the traits that make him smile and fall more in love with her.
While I have some sympathy for him, not for the amount I see in many of these comments. If I were the writer, I know, I dated a "bad boy", I fell for his sad story but I thought I could help him. Truth is looking back I realize that was foolish to some extent, but I don't totally regret it. I just wish I remained his friend and not dated him. However, if I were a writer that is the one thing I'd change... yes I'd still make her in love with the cop, but I'd have her concerned for him, and wanting to help him. Just as her mom showed concern for the con artist female pretending to be her daughter, Namsoon's mom was sympathetic toward her and helped her... I was hoping as a friend she'd try to reach him and show him the path he's on is a choice, he can choose to leave that path at any time. I really was hoping he'd redeem himself in the end. 😢
I know that he's a a villain an all bit they way that she was playing him. He was being genuine. Also I felt like her mother was provoking him then he snaped and wanted to kill her moms. The Russian was making him sell the drugs but he's the one who developed the antidote. I

She's working with the police against some serious crimes and she has people she has to protect, she has her own agenda just like he has his. The pieces are there for him to redeem and find inner peace from the happiness he knows now he can experience, but not from one person but from connecting with others. I really hoped that was enough for him to see the light and not turn back but sadly..

He was a tortured soul looking for a way to exist without being monitored or being ordered what to do which is why he built the antidote business and kept it to himself. He didn't want to be associated with Pavel. He wanted a way OUT. He was literally rebelling against the actual bad guys planning to get revenge on them for what they did to him and Binbin. But Nam Soon hurt him where it would hurt the most, she betrayed his trust knowing how he felt for her. Had she been clear that she doesn't welcome his affectionate gestures towards her and that she is already committed, perhaps it wouldn't have hurt Shi-oh as much but she gave him hope, she pretended that she cared how he felt. And that ruse once broken turned him into a monster. Let's not forget how all this started. It was Geum-ju who provoked him and got him all riled up and then Nam Soon just wnded up fanning the fire with her betrayal. So, it's no wonder that he is hell bent on killing them all. Even after Shi-oh told her everything about how he is being monitored by some really bad people, the mafia and how the antidote business is the only way to get back at them, but Nam Soon didn't pay much attention neither did she try to understand his position. All she wanted was to bring down Shi-oh when in reality he wasn't even the real "villain". He was betting his life on the antidote business but guess, he won't be living for long.

That's the reason may be there's broke in love friendship trust between ryusio and tsegseg and we know that namsoon ends with police already her mom planned her pregnancy. May be ep 16 will be bl for bin bin and ryusio goodbye namsoon😂😂😂 I'm now curious of who's binbin how handsome he must be to be in ryusio heart. What a pathetic drama is this
@@supergirl1214_ Seriously though! I keep wondering are we all watching the same drama or not! Are some of the viewers unable to grasp the subtleties of his character? People really need to learn to read between the lines. I understand that the fact the drug business is not his own was shown in ep 14 but that too was showcased in a rather unclear manner but throughout the story, as his character unfolded, it was pretty obvious that he was being forced to run the drug business as a member of Pavel and he didn't want to which is why he worked on the antidote in his lab. But he did take advantage of the drug since it gives temporary superpowers. Then again people keep talking about how he tried to kill Nam Soon's mother. Now again, why did she provoke him in that meeting? Because she knew he would make rash decisions and try to kill her which is why she pre-planned her accident. Shi-oh wanted to be out of Pavel which is why he was rebelling against them. When he saw that Nam Soon had such superpowers, he was fascinated and later on pretty much fell in love with her. I also see how some people keep saying that he only wanted her so that he could use her powers. But that's not right though! He wanted her by his side so that they both can take down Pavel together, he didn't want to "use" her power, he wanted her by his side. He isn't good. He has done bad stuff, killed people directly or indirectly and he should be punished for all those crimes but he himself as a person was never bad neither did he ever treat Nam Soon poorly. So, to see him get betrayed like that and then him trying to kill everyone who betrayed him doesn't even surprise me. Man grew up in an environment that only believed in survival of the fittest and he saw how traitors were killed so of course he would walk down that route. Had someone shown him that there are other ways to deal with bad people other than killing them off, he wouldn't have become this monster that he became in the latest episodes.
In this drama..even the I learned the lesson no trust anyone blindly...even when u are strong person or genius....the character of ryu shi-o is best example of never trust anyone blindly....even the character of his in drama is negative..but the original villain is nam-soon ...she fooled shio...and also she one of the unmature character I noticed..she would even don't act this type of childness ...I don't know y k drama writers potrait this type of immature child of character of ml actress ....it would be better to change her boldness or mature person who understand right side of shi-o's true level of Identity..and help him to fight against Pavel..he shared all things to her for being take herself his side...now he take the trust of hopeless..and also become to do more negative things .... I think the k drama writers should make matured content for villain also....every one should not be perfect they have also dark side of their life to become this type of red flag

Humanity? Did he ever have one in the first place? I mean he woke up one day, feeling different from everyone else and decided he will go on being the monster the world wanted him to be. But Namsoon was born different and yet never acted like a monster. And you can say "he grew up in the mafia, everyone wanted him dead, he had an unfortunate beginning" but that's all just an excuse. It doesn't justify the fact that he is willing to sacrifice people, both strangers and those he loved to protect himself. Whether Tsetseg was sincere to him or not, he still had no plans to stop the evil he's doing. The only reason he felt betrayed was not because he trusted her. No. He never trusted her, even if he wanted to, he had always doubted her. What he feels is frustration. Because Tsetseg showed him that it was ok to be weak and not be alone, but he himself refused the possibility of that life, and found a reason to drag himself back into the darkness by thinking he was betrayed. When in reality, you can't be betrayed by people you neverr even trusted in the first place.

Well in all honesty, he's still a villain to me so I'm not too heartbroken, but I had held out hope that the writers would redeem him, him being with Namsoon would hopefully make him realize there's another path he can choose, he doesn't have to go down the one Pavel designed for him. Just like his friend left Pavel and chose a better path, I had hoped he would too. So for that I'm with you-writers really could've done better for him. sometimes they redeem people in dramas I wish they didn't, but this is the first villain I really wanted redemption for.
Last two weeks were so exciting and rosy, i waited for fresh episodes to see them together on screen being silly, i was literally so emotionally invested in this and after a very long time too. But the turn it has taken this show, Man I feel betrayed and shi oh my goodness deserved better and a second chance. Namsoon is the real villian here istg

Honestly this was the first and only kdrama where I ever rooted for the villain. Sure he was evil and did some unspeakable things but he was never taught anything else. He didn’t deserve the fate that he got
I mean… he played the part so damn good. Honestly amazed bc he is so warm and light hearted in his interactions. This was 💯 some of the best acting I have ever seen. And props to the writers too bc a lot of k dramas just reuse the same sort of scenes over and over. His violent scenes are original, the golf club scene was crazy.
@@anita2053-r1f See idk how to explain this but for Shioh she is.He trusted her but she came to betray him.Ofc for him she is a traitor.But Ryu Shi Oh is the villain(hate the director for this) he would obviously get a sad ending and Shioh didnt only say this about namsoon.He said to Geumju's assistant and hwara too.And its also the director's fault they shouldn't have showed this much chemistry between them.
What hurt more was that no one was there for him Everyone abandoned him. When he opened up to the first person (Nam soon) she took advantage of it. Even in the drama you could see his eyes. He couldn’t believe the betrayal

I dropped the drama once he knows who Tsegtseg really is. Like he didn't even doubt her a bit and fully put his trust in her. Villain or not, no one deserves to get betrayed in the first place. Ik many will say Namsoon's mother is almost killed by him, so he deserves it. That's because she provoked him first. Well, his childhood is already a mess, he was trained to kill anyone that gets in his way. If he doesn't kill, he'll get killed. There's not many choices for him to survive. Pavel made him sell the drugs but he works on the antidote as well, so I can't say that he is fully a bad guy.
I understand how that pain feels, Im no mafia gangster but the one guy who I opened my heart and knew the kind of pain I carried and what ive been through, he betrayed me and once he got what he wanted from me treated me like trash and left with someone else also his family knew and they all make fun of me too and owe me money and left me with debt, you go from love to hate very quick (In his case I guess bc I dont hate my ex I just dislike him so much that I ask myself how didnt I see what he was and it makes you angry thinking that while you were crying they are happy with someone else with no guilt). Risyo said once his friend chose another path. Seems his friend chose a good path to help while Risyo continued the path showed him a path to destroy. However, NamSoon never showed him any romantic interest, it was only one-sided, so she didn't betray him.

In this story even though the male lead and female lead has a nice cute lovey dovey chemistry and their acting is splendid but it's the Antagonist in this story who has a alluring yet evil aura,which is kind of addicting,his aura is overpowering and domineering, the reason why he is the focus rather than male lead. His character is kind of a masculine, witty, evil psychopath type and on top of that his acting and visuals are like a cherry on the top and giving what it's supposed to give. This drama will mostly get you hooked because of the Antagonist

I really pity him because i wanted nam soon to fall in love with him i really understood his pain and the love he craved for its really sad and it was so adorable how he only liked her by his side and just fell in love with her but it was also a pain for her too see her boss wanting to kill her mom 😢❤
they definitely do him wrong like i really felt bad for him, he's not all that bad, he is the way he is because of how he was brought up, i actually thought that namsoon would make him a better person and perhaps even make him change his mind about the whole thing so i guess we'll see about that this weekend

Im confused as to why everyone is blaming namsoon like she's supposed to have feelings for him. She was just trying to make the world a better place like her and her mom said at the beginning. He was the one that started the whole thing anyways so i kinda don't feel that bad for him even though it was a little bit of a bitter ending for him, maybe him going to jail would be better but im not sure.

ngl ryu si o deserves more than this. he was born with parents that neglected him and he grew up with the mafia. he didnt deserve all of this, he just needed some happiness and love from people. the mafia changed him. he was betrayed 3 times and he even mentioned it. his parents, nam soon or the person he loved + trusted, and his only friend when he was in the mafia. he doesnt need any more neglect, hes received too much already
