Fun fact: West Ham was 5 points behind City in that 2015 table shown😂... Jokes apart, if WestHam continues like this, everyone would be happy for them either as champions or UCL entry
As a West Ham fan, I can honestly say this still doesn’t feel real in my mind we still have Roberto in goal, Pedro Obiang as our best player, and Pablo Zabaletta playing full 90s what has Moyes done to my club man😭😭
@@liam8664 your time has come mate, champions league football beckons. This is beyond amazing, happy to see the hammers flying. Shaka Hislop is indeed screaming in glee at his tv at home 😎😎😎😎😎
Tbf, moyes had a title winning squad playing like unorganized children, and relied on Fellaini like nobody's business...🤷♂️ the man utd job was clearly too big for him. A club like West Ham who are happy to just occasionally challenge for the top 6 is about his level. He's not the manager you want to try and win titles
@@tricky1506 The title winning squad that he inherited, when you look at it, it's what makes SAF great, he gets the best out of average players. It was a team with a past it Rooney and RVP, Jones, Smalling, Cleverley, Young, Welbeck, etc
@@rohithraman6488 I totally agree. That squad under most other managers would not come close to winning a title. They were very ordinary, and only the exceptional management of Ferguson, and De Gea's outstanding work in goal, won them the title.
@@mandem2362 I know. That's the joke my guy. He already tried and failed. The thing is, if he didn't, then everybody would say that he should take the job.
As a liverpool fan this is probably the fairest assessment I've seen. We wernt bad but west ham did their homework and alisson had a mare. All credit to them. Could be a great story for them.
I see everyone keep saying Allison had a mare and while he didn’t have an amazing game where were the Liverpool players when he was being surrounded by the West Ham players on corners. You would think the Liverpool players are seeing what the West Ham players were doing to him
@@Hhbrach obviously it's worked on in training and a goalkeepers job is to organise defence at set pieces. He got distracted far too easilly by antonio but the 3rd goal was all round bad defending, but he really should be saving that shot.
Cheers.if im honest despite only missing out on top 4 by 2 points last season id still be well happy with top 6 and a good cup run this year. Good luck for the rest of the season
Didn't know Gallagher had heart surgery, as someone who suffers with a bad heart and couldn't come back from it I absolutely salute those who fought back and did well for themselves so he deserves all the praise he is getting!
tbf we have an injury crisis of sorts, because lets be honest David Raya is HUGE for this team, and Ajer is probs our best CB. But yeah, I'm actually gonna throw some shade at Thomas Frank here, we have loads of good wingers stuck on the bench because we play with 2 up front, which doesn't help Toney, which is why he hasn't made his mark yet, or Mbeumo, who can't score if his life depended on it. Yeah, we're screwed if we can't beat Newcastle, because we have a good away record
I agree your owners have done lots of things you didn't want but I don't know where they can get credit It's a bit like England fans and Southgate When we lost the final everyone was bashing Southgate and also people were like "we got to the final in spite of Southgate", as if he doesn't deserve a bit of credit
Rohith Raman. credit?? For what being the 18th richest club in the world and not spending more then 30mill on a player? Or for refusing to pay man united a extra 5 mill for Lingard yea I'll give the credit for being cheap wankers who just care about lining Thier pockets. We made it to Europe this season and they gave Moyes enough money for 1 player in the window. For me GSBout is a much higher result for the club then winning anything
Anyone saw Jose's insane interview at BT Sports after a 2-2 draw where Roma was denied 2 clear penalties? It's his best in years " What did you make of the game?" " Stop acting like a journalist you know I know everyone knows." " Are you referring to the 2 penalties denied to Roma?" " Of course. Go ahead. Tell what you saw. We all saw it. It's the same every club I manage . I can't say it because they will punish Me but say exactly what it is go ahead speak " " Well I'm just a reporter Jose people want to hear from you. " " Did you see the game? " " Sure " " Then speak man. Talk to the people tell them what they are doing against my team. Every club. We know the truth. Get the referee to speak. " " It's not my place " " What you don't have eyes? You don't have vision or a personality ? It's painfully obvious everywhere . Say the truth to the people. My team plays amazing. We have fantastic attacking football this season and we get punished because the manager is Jose mourinho . Huge possession. Lots of shots on goals. They come here they shot twice they score twice. More possessions against juventus we get robbed More possession against Milan we get robbed " 😂😂😂
@@RK-zf1jm Haha. To be fair I watched roma this season and he does play attacking possession football. Totally different from his style in England. But his defense is very poor.
Everyone is talking about how poor our defence has been, but tbh it’s our midfield that’s been really awful. We look too slow in the transition and when tracking back, players such as Ox, Jones and Henderson look like headless chickens running around at times (the Brighton game a perfect example of this) some of them are getting on in age as well and we need to freshen it up. I’d go for Bissouma as well as a progressive forward thinking midfielder to replace Ox and Milner in the Summer.
Yeah as soon as ox came on against Brighton I knew we would struggle. Him on the right of midfield and matip in defence is the worst combination. We'll never win playing like that, every team will score goals against us
The big thing that helped Leicester that West Ham don't have going their way is that Leceister only had the league to focus on while West Ham has Europe and domestic cups to handle as well. I'm wish them the best but I'm not sure they have enough squad depth to sustain this level of performance with this many competitions
After this win I now fully believe this Westham team is serious business (not like Brighton who got demolished at the first match with big opposition). Let's see if their squad can keep fit and stay on pace with the big ones with larger benches at seasons end
I think it's incredibly telling as to the magic David Moyes is working that he's in a top four race with a team whose best player that they lost in the summer was JESSE LINGARD
I mean Billy gilmour is one of my mates and his contract is that he will play and the manager juss didnt follow the contract. He has played more for scotland than norwich
I think David Moyes had a transformation as a manager at Real Sociedad, he wasn't successful there at all but his game improved a lot tactically in La liga
Everyone is saying "maybe" Moyes should be given more time to manage Man Utd, so now the Glazers are doing the exact right thing by giving Ole more time👍
As an Everton fan I always felt Moyes was thrown under the bus at United, he might not have won the league but definitely would be a stable team on Europe
I've always thought this. He inherited an aging squad that wasn't planned for for the future unlike previous man u teams, Fergie knew he was off so never bothered.
Every Time I watch it sounds like an ending to the worst Thomas the tank engine episode in existence. Except it takes 10 minutes to end. Still worth it
@@Kieran66 fans need to wake up, imagine people were applauding ole after the city defeat, those clueless fans are part of the problem, fans need to start turning on the manager, he already lost most of the fanbase, and the players now despite what they come out with on social media, that's the club telling them to say that . Fans need to shout ole out. Enough is enough
@@khal3300 Ole gets an easy ride because he's a Man U Legend as a player. He keeps getting let off because Man U still win plenty of games...They are Man U after all, it's not like they're going to be facing a relegation battle no matter who their manager is. But let's say Brendan Rogers does get the United job - What do you think would be the reaction if he lost 5-0 to Liverpool? Immediate Firing, that's what the reaction would be!
Two of the most craziest VAR incidents in Everton-Spurs game. 2 VAR decisions and both contradict each other: if Lorris glanced ball and brought down Richarlison is not a penalty, which BTW is stupid rule to begin with; then Holgate cleaning the ball and clattering into Hojberg isn't foul as well. After all bothg are defensive action which causes defensive player to foul opponent. I can't see how Lorris glancing ball with finger AFTER bringing down Richarlison is deemed not foul while Holgate clattering into Hojberg AFTER successful clearance is. Those rules are just stupid and not logical.
Seriously, before the West Ham Liverpool match the only thing I asked for was to not be run over and embarassed like ManUtd 2 weeks ago. A draw would've already been amazing, never would I ever have expected a win. It felt like a fever dream at first, not gonna lie. Does that first goal still bug me, because I don't know how to feel about it? Yeah, sure. And looking back at the game I still see Liverpool as the overall stronger team. But as you said, things like this just happen. I don't know what was up with Allison this match. He is a good keeper normally. But for some reason he felt really... out of it. I can't explain it. Also, credit where it's due: I normally just watch the matches and don't follow news on what happens within the teams too much, so I don't know the exact reasons behind it, but I've heard Origi is getting a lot of trash talk at Liverpool, yet he scored the greatest goal of the match. If any other bit more well known, bit more liked player would've scored a goal like that, it would've been praised to infinity and beyond. And yet it's barely mentioned anywhere. That goal was beautiful and deserves being talked about. Right, that's it. Thanks for being part of my ted talk. Have a nice day.
Allison's had a few random horrible performances from time to time - It could be that he's just had an off day or perhaps he had an argument with his missus or his dog got ill or something.
West ham are flying under moyes doesn't just have them chasing more european cup football but is also being competitive in europe this season aswell , most sides struggle once in europe but west ham seem stronger this year
If you was from newham you would understand why we ain’t to keen on them just ask the business owners in the area who got promised stuff and got shafted so don’t judge us to quickly if you don’t know the facts
He’s a West Ham/Everton quality manager. He’s doing as well as he will ever do, any bigger teams require someone who’s a serial winner at a top level, Moyes has won what?
Whyd you change the title? Lol Regardless as a Liverpool fan, respect to West Ham, David Moyes gave a tactical masterclass for the hammers and outplayed Liverpool fair and square. They've been fun to watch and I'm enjoying competing against them as hard as it was to watch us lose. Can't wait to play them at Anfield.
WestHam are doing exceptionally well till now, but they need 1-2 more signings to keep up in the title race!!! 👍 Also, they need to finalize Areola right now, he's proven enough and his price will go up at the end of the season!!! 👍
If West Ham pick up a good striker as backup for Antonio and Denis Zakaria as a backup for Rice, they’ll be threatening to have true depth in addition to an excellent starting 11.
Calling Billy Gilmour overrated is stupid,he's a great player who should be starting and will show how good he is now that Farke is Sacked. I hate Reactionary opinions like this.
I'm pretty convinced now that Liverpool will not win the league this season. Our defence has been mostly garbage so far and that's even with Van Dijk playing. At least we've been good in the UCL.
