As soon as De Bruyne steps on the pitch, you have a massive problem. His ability to find space in tight areas is second to none and every touch he takes is perfection. Play foden over him against Arsenal and Arsenal win the league last season. Foden is an incredible talent but De Bruyne is the best midfielder in world football.
Saying "he's not that guy" when talking about KDB shows how much he's made you suffer 😂 By FAR the best midfielder the Prem has ever seen. He can do basically everything offensively that Lampard, Gerrard, Beckham or Scholes could.
That's cause their RU-vid personas are built around taking the piss, it's what he's good at. You don't watch these guys for serious analysis do you?? 😂
@@0xmoothis isn't about what his team and managers has won, this is based on individual performances jamie vardy isn't better than harry kane because he won something so plz

@0xmoo what you just said makes 0 sense Gerrard career started at a time where most stats like "big chances created" weren't a thing Any football fan with a brain would know this 💀
This is why regular football fans don't rate Adam McKola - because he's completely and utterly biased to his team. To say that Beckham is better than De Bruyne is a level of delusion and dishonesty that only he can reach. Guy's pushing 40 and still a complete baby lol
Treble winning Beckham had 9 goals and 20 assists in 55 games. Treble winning KDB had 10 goals and 31 assists in 49 games. This is why it's so embarrassing being a United fan because of the dumb shit that comes out of other United fans.
saying bruno fernandes could play in a bernardo silva role is one of the worst takes i’ve ever heard… and thats me being a man united fan that loves bruno.
Rodri is literally the most complete footballer in the world. Physically dominant, tactical fouls, can pass being both a creator and a tempo setter, can score goals, can glide with the ball yaya-esque if needed, and he's press resistant.
@@inquisitorsneed2keane over rodri is crazy. Better player better Tactical foul in him better controller of play and has the bigger moments that aren't snapping peoples legs like a baby
Rodri may go down as the greatest defensive midfielder this game as ever seen. Busquets himself said so. If you watched us for the past 3 years you'd know that although De Bruyne is our best player, Rodri is our most important player. Better player than Keane, Better tempo setter, more dominant physically (6 ft plus), tactical fouls, passing, he's a creator and a metronome, and he has goals in his locker. UCL Final, Bayern, Villa final day, winner against sheffield just a couple weeks ago, assist in the super cup if you want to bring big moments into it. He is literally the archetypal football player, can defend, can pass, can create, can score, can lead.
@@dashawnballard52 it's an all time XI being injured is irrelevant, and even having to debate this ,was outrageous to me , I think buvey could have destroyed adam
Straight facts it’s just hard to argue players when some of these Utd players have how many trophies. But if I’m picking a team to win that midfield ain’t going to lose the ball; David silva KDB Yaya
KDB not better than Scholes ?? When KDB retires I firmly believe he"ll go down aa the best poem midfielder ever and arguably the best prem player based on his tenure there .
Even as a United fan, putting Dalot anywhere near the lineup is ludicrous. Both Walker and Stones are miles ahead as a right back.@@guilhermevieira6010
Mckola literally represents every United fan now , can’t cope with how bad they’ve been for over a decade all they can do is harp on about fergie and former players during another generation . The fact it became an all time combined premier league 11 is one of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever seen and I watched us wallop them 7-0
but buying sucess with gulf state oil money and 115 charges looming over their heads is not embarassing? winning 1 league title in nearly 35 years for liverpool is not embarassing? Man united will always be more sucessful and bigger than those dusty clubs, comercially and fanbase wise we are competing with real madrid and no one else, liverpool competes with themselves and city are in the same league of fanbase as exeter city or newport county...
@@TheSh1v can't do anything right though can you. As a united fan mckola opens up knowing we are getting slapped but always a shout we could do it, admits city are better now and then rory, a chelsea fan, suggests all time because if you do a combined 11 now you probably debate bruno and lose anyway and have 11 city players. But you know ABU's - used to seeing it
I think most United fans including McKola realise how bad we are now compared to where we want to be. If it was a combined XI of current teams it would just be a 20 second video naming City's XI. Doing an all time one is the only way they're going to get a proper video out of it, it's no deeper than that, really. Classic Liverpool fan making it all about yourself though.
@@themangomag97 Everyone who isn't a utd fan and ACTUALLY watched both play, knows KDB is easily clear of Scholes lol. Scholes career is MASSIVELY overhyped
If Adam thinks Beckham and Scholes are better than KDB he needs to check is head 😂 . Schmeichel Walker Rio Vidic Irwin Yaya KDB Beckham Rooney Aguero CR7
David Silva > Beckham Yaya wasn’t really a CDM so I would have Roy Keane or even Rodri ( he is young yes but has been one of the best in the world for few years now) over him
@@Mcbikey24 Yaya played a lot of positions most of the times he was a box to box midfielder, but I think the only thing Keane was better at was his leadership and Rodri will probably be the best dm in prem history when he retires
No one cares about the “story” apart from local fans. You ask the average fan if they knew Beckham and Co were home grown and they’d probably say no. But City has stories, Haaland’s first season breaking every goalscoring record, John Stones in midfield, Alvarez completing football in one season, etc…
@@sley6405 i hate it when you children say this thinking you sound smart, man united generate that money by having the biggest fanbase in the world, city generate that by enslaving south asians to work in their gulf state oil fields you child
CITY are attracting global fans at the quickest rate. Just after the Treble the amount of City Jerseys in Toronto this summer has blown my mind. It's it all most young ppl.
De Bruyne is in the conversation with CR7, Salah, Henry, Rooney, Shearer as the best players this league has ever seen. To not have him in this XI is criminal.
well the only reason they left him out is because they were doing 2 cdms and one cm. obviously scholes gets the cm role so the only way to get kdb in was to get yaya out.
I could give Mckola the attacking battle....but the midfield no way.... City's definition is the midfield....the are the best team in controlling games in the midfield than anything....they have created a lot of chances for the attack....thts one of the reasons players who aren't necessarily world class upfront at city get their goals....bcoz of the supply from midfield.....
Adam's argument for every player was based on the teams success. That makes no sense when doing combined 11's, because you can't attribute a whole teams success onto one player
Peter Schmeichel Kyle Walker Rio Ferdinand Vincent Kompany Denis Irwin Yaya Touré Roy Keane Kevin De Bruyne Cristiano Ronaldo Wayne Rooney Sergio Agüero - Neutral perspective with no bias.
It can't be dismissed because say Man City win like another 3 or 4 CL's leagues in the next 20 years & another 10 or 11 titles then it's a debate. Man Utd were behind Liverpool as a big club until Ferguson, then that changed. The way Peps going if he stays at City, he can end up with a record similar to Fergusons.
If City have another decade like 2013-2023, I'd argue we'd be bigger than them either way. It's not really a number's game, if you have failed to win the Prem for 20 years and your rival just won it, it doesn't matter if you got a couple more Prems than your rival, you are inferior. Football is just as much about history as it is about recent success. If we assume City wins another 6 Prems and another CL on the following, let's say, 10/11 seasons and United remains the same, we're definitely bigger.
Loved the Lisbon Lions shoutout. I didn’t think English fans would even know who they were 😂 I can’t see a time where City are bigger than United, but you never know.
Mate in live in Manchester and work in the city centre and I haven’t seen a city kit for over a month , wait actually i seen a fella and his misses with city kits on in nandos on Saturday but been a while since then 😂😂
Scholes and Giggs are probably the 2 most over rated players in history, played in the best team in the world for about 40 years between them and only scored double figures in the league 4 times between them. Nostalgia is the only reason they're rated these days, if they were playing now they wouldn't get near City's players and I don't even like City. Also in terms of success like Buvey pointed out, people say City bought their success, which they did, but don't say the same for United who regularly outspent everyone and broke transfer records under Ferguson.
@@nathanielbutt Cool... Scholes played 2 decades for united and never even won a SINGLE man utd player of the year award lol, let alone footballer of the year. The guy has exactly zero ballon d'or votes in his whole career. Anyone who actually lived through the 2000s knows that at their peak the debate was always "gerrard vs lampard" and then utd fans/mainstream media retrospectively tried to turn it into "gerrard vs lampard vs scholes" after he scored a few long range goals late in his career
All we heard last season was if united had a proper striker, Bruno would get loads of assists, you spent 75m on a striker and he's about to be the next 007. Absolute waffle from United fans all the time.
The all time prem XI between these two teams is so hard to do because of how much the game has changed between the decades, but I firmly believe the man city xi would dominate the man utd xi.
@@nathijomac thats not what I'm saying, I'm saying city's xi would beat man utds xi. Especially if it was played by today's rules, most of the utd players would be getting sent off every other game.
Adam actually knows Man U history and whips out old school references relatively frequently. I haven't really heard Buvey ever reference anything City pre 2010 [pre Pep even]. Buvey also rarely mentions how EASY it is to be a City fan, particularly with Middle East oil money at your back. Being a City fan is easier than being one of any other pro sports team in the world. Hands down. Includes club rugby, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, etc.
KDB is a wonderful player. Undoubtably one of the best in the world over his time at city. However if you think he was a better passer of the ball than Scholes then you either were not around at the time, have a very short memory of are just in denial. Scholes was well known to commonly in training hit his teammates in the back of the head over and over again from 40 yards for a laugh. Scholes was simply for a large amount of time overshadowed by Beckham as was every other player in PL history.
@@Ausbrahdave Then I guess you fall in one or both of the short memory/not paying attention or just plain denial categories. Towards the end of his career when Scholes was playing very deep he was being referred to as the English Pirlo (Scholes was also the only PL player Pirlo named in his all time best Champions League squad) as a comparison to one of the best passers in the history of the game. As you should also then remember there were calls in the media for Scholes to be reintroduced to the England squad when he was over 35 for the way he was completely dominating/dictating PL games with his passing range across the pitch from deep. You tell yourself whatever you want though I guess 👍
@@kurt5079Scholes might be more accurate with those side passes etc, but the second you consider things like vision and timing, passes behind the line, variety of passes ( left foot, right foot, trivela, curve, crossing) KDB sweeps
Buvey tryna claim Stones as "Homegrown" just cus he fulfils the homegrown quota rule is disgraceful lol. They paid 50 mil for him! Utd fans could claim Rooney was homegrown by the same logic. The guy had played 4 full seasons including 3 in the prem before he ever put a City shirt on. He already had double digit England caps lol
Scholes was incredible to watch... serious midfielder.... I remember watching Utd games on bbc2 before Sky started takin all the games. Since then I've seen all the greats... Lampards Vieiras Gerards etc.... but iv never seen a player like KDB.... hes the best midfielder in Prem history.... I don't care about trophys and the nostalgic factor people have for theirs favourite players. Im Arsenal fan and KDB is the best ever.
Agree to an extent. Think it really helps he's been in a Pep side and not a Mancini or Pellegrini team. I just think if were objectively talking the most complete midfielder to ever live it has to be Gerrard. Besides trophies there isn't a single facet of the game he wasn't incredible at. Vision, long-range passing, finishing, set pieces, leadership, work rate, tackling, loyalty, etc. KDB is as offensively gifted but nowhere close in the other categories.

Yeah im also an arsenal fan but i honestly think i would have to put Gerard just above KDB atm. The way he could run the team in every area and carried a lot of awful teams that I have not seen KDB do. I just imagine putting Gerard in peps side now and it might be even better.
@@BiggestBirdonMars I don't know if I can agree with KDB being "one of the best players in the world" while on loan at Werder Bremen then two seasons at Wolfsburg. He was incredible but Kai Havertz was also star in Germany too. But that's the thing- Gerrard did play CAM when Torres was in the team and was phenomenal... had 60 G/A in those three seasons. He's also played the box-to-box role and DM in his last three seasons which included a 13 goal 13 assist season. There's just no CM like him.
Since Ferguson left Man United, the two teams have played each other 25 times. Man City have won 13, Man United have won 9 (other 3 were draws obviously). Considering Man Utd have been very up and down in that time it’s relatively close so could be interesting.

A quick google search will tell you how much Liverpool and United spent on the club and players back in the day. Obviously not 100m on 1 player but money has changed drastically.
De bruyne is by far the best premier league era midfielder, scholes was a cf for a lot of his career and he was never the best player in any of the title winning man united sides. Adam's a bit of an embarrassment. I'm a Utd fan, older than him, warched all players live and on TV. So I'm not guilty of recency bias. The notion that Beckham is anywhere near KVB is mental. Scholes was underrated in his day, sure, but KVB surely shades it.
