Just add a bit of info about the ball the Cock sits on, that sits on top of the stadium. Paul Gascoigne shot the old ball with an air rifle in the 90s. When they made the new one for the new stadium, they ensured the dent was still on it.
@rysfootparadise spurs have only won 1 carabao cup from what I remember and been trophy less since they exited as a football team that's why a lot of people call them empty trophy cabinet also arsenal man United Liverpool and Chelsea and man city have won more trophy through out the years 🙄😳✊🏼
Been there for a match and a stadium tour, it’s a fabulous world class stadium. To the neutral fan Spurs have always been a classy team that plays attractive football, I felt the stadium reflects their image / heritage.
@@annabee75what sport is played in those yank stadiums?? A Sport that no one on the rest of the planet takes part in because yank sports are crap. The world plays our sports including your clown country. Tennis, golf etc etc
Those houses at 3.37... I was queuing for cup final tickets in the 80s and it was freezing and there were thousands there, one of the old ladies living in there, wheeled out a trolley with a tea urn on it, and spent the day serving tea free gratis. Remember her saying.... I've to keep my boys warm.... such a nice memory.
As a Spurs fan, it’s always refreshing to see fans of other clubs that are able to appreciate how fantastic the stadium is. Great content and your sensitive handling of our lack of recent silverware was much appreciated 😂
I grew up going to The Lane but I live abroad now. Been to the new stadium a few times since I moved and did the tour. I was back there not even a month ago for the Everton match but this video has still made me emotional! As much as I love the new stadium, The Lane will always be home for me and I'm so happy the new stadium is filled with so many tributes and memories to the place that raised me. Thanks for the content!
First of your vids I have watched, am a spurs fan and seeing you are a man utd supporter I thought it was going to be negative and taking the piss. Great to see another football fan just enjoying everything about the game and will be watching your other tour vids 👍🏻
What wasn’t mentioned was that around that time Jim and a few of the others would end up down with us fans in a pub a few miles up the road in Chingford for a good old celebration . I don’t think today’s footballers would like to mix quite so much as they used to
What a great video and what a fantastic ground, amazing club Tottenham and what they have done is surely going to put them back in the hunt for success where they truly belong.
The online shop is pretty good. I've started following Spurs because I'm an Aussie and Ange is coaching them. Mate of mine is a long time Arsenal fan, so during my Christmas break I spent some quality time selecting some choice items from the Spurs online shop that I'll slowly insert into his life, culminating in the yellow jocks with Spurs written on them. My mate's wife has already agreed to stick them in his jock draw without him knowing. I think he'll also enjoy getting into his car and seeing the mini car scarf across the back window as well...
Richard Hammond did an amazing programme about the stadium. Available in a few6/7 minute segments on you tube. Well worth a watch to get an even better appreciation of it
really enjoyed your Burnley vid, so bumping into this is a reet treat. Thank you for just being a fan and not tribal like it can be. It is a crazy stadium, 46 year spurs fan here, wish you all the best with your vids, I've subscribed :)
I was born in Tottenham, a short walk for the ground but have lived in Ireland since I was 2. I'm going there next month with my lovely wife and spurs fan daughter. We can't wait. Great video, going to watch the rest now.
I went for the Rugby League final a couple of years ago - great stadium and even better on a hot day when you can watch the match with a cold beer in hand (something you can't do at the football) - great stadium
I’m biased as a long term season ticket holder at Spurs. But it’s really a fantastic stadium. We got it right in a lot of ways, especially the fact it’s directly on the spot of our home. So it keeps all the journey as the same and all the local area still benefits from it. It’s what some clubs got wrong IMO such as Arsenal and West Ham and also now Everton will feel the same as well.
When you said on your right for the planning for the hotel. It’s was on your left behind the big south stand. Full planning for a hotel, outline planning for an extreme sports block plus 500ish flats. Plus they’ve just opened a collab with F1 with a goat electric go cart experience under the south stand where the pitch storage is
Been there for a stadium tour it really is the best…I also did the skywalk wow so good…I would of loved to see the goal line bar on the tour but what an experience
Well done on a great video, it was entertaining....it's good to see your kind words on spurs, there's far too much hate in football at the moment and I feel you've put a bit of decency and kindness back into the game we all love....
What a fantastic stadium, if only old Trafford could be re developed/ rebuilt into something like this beast. I look forward to seeing your tours of the new Nou camp and new bernabeu pal! 😂
As a spurs fan it's always great seeing how other fans view our new home.......2 things not mentioned in video is the stadium has its own brewery on site, but also under the pitch is Bill Nicholson's ashes located somewhere in the south end where the old and new pitches overlap......again keeping that history very much inside the new ground
Amazing video, very well done. I'm a Spurs fan and I've done the tour and I adore the Tottenham neighborhood. I can tell your're proper football lad, you give real quality treatment to the subject. Very, very well done.
Next week there's a $200 mill Powerball here in Oz ... one can only dream, but as a Spurs fan, if luck came my way ... 🤞🙏🙄... I'd pick up one of those terraced houses ... and if anyone who lives there watches this, I'd pay way OTT the going price by the way !! 😉👍 ... on a serious note, some Spurs 'fans' spend every waking moment bagging Levy ... this stadium, the infrastructure and prospective earnings (NFL, concerts, sporting venue etc) is down to him (and plenty of others we'll never know about) ... all that's required is a team to match and with Ange P as the coach we are well on the way ... so today, if I was a player and asked to sign up ? ... I'd say "absolutely, give me that effing pen !!!"
When you went outside Sainsburys That where I lived from 60s till 80s...I went to school in Park Lane...back in the day A Spurs Player would dress up as Santa and give presents out to us kids I remember Pat Jennings one year with his deep Irish Accent and massive hands...happy happy days...COYS...oh and as Kids we would get money off the Spurs Fans to let them park their car outside our house 😁
Great honest reporting I love my club. I was at the Brighton game at the weekend in the broadcasting booth unbelievable facilities. Best stadium in world football from what I've been told
Fantastic tour much better than expected boss🎉well done you, and tbf if n when we ever win anything again it'll just be passed off as.. Oh its only that cup unless it's the league or CL, either way it's been long overdue and not by choice but we're a patient fan base and something big is going to happen very soon just you see😅thanks once again for you're input and dedication and long may this you're channel grow you've definitely got the charisma.. COYS
@@RysFootyParadise I know one thing, all of the Southern Man Utd fans would certainly get quite a result if that happened, they may even make it to the odd game 😉
Great video. Re. the home dressing room - the shirts are just laid out in number order for the tours they are not actually in the correct position for matchday. Also the two "cupboard" seats are used by youth players who are getting experience of being with the first team. Re. the hotel, that will be located on the plaza infront of the South stand.
Glad you liked our humble abode. And there's no denying we've had an almost totally barren 30-odd yrs but the whole empty cabinet bantz is nonsensical to the point we're non-plussed by it tbh, especially coming from all but a handful of other clubs in the country.
Just to confirm that quote I put in the video was to take the piss out of the pisstakers, not of the fact there’s only a few trophies haha 😁👍🏾 only positive takeaways from that tour 👏🏽
Brilliant video mate. Thoroughly enjoyed your in depth coverage. As an Aussie fan, i visited the old White Hart Lane in the late 80s for a game. It was hard enough to work out how to get there from the middle of London and get tickets to a game as no internet in the old days obviously, but eventually all sorted out. You did great justice to our glorious past and huge potential with the lovely new stadium as our foundation. 👏👏👏
I am a Man Utd fan. The Tottenham Hotspurs stadium is very impressive. United can learn some from this stadium. Keep atmosphere, keep heritage while building a new state of the art stadium.
Visited a few stadium tours and Spur's was among the best. Unlike Arsenal, which was underwhelmingly sad where they restricted where you can sit in the home team's room and the dug out. Spurs and others I've visited encouraged you to sit anywhere and take as much photos as you can, that's great fan service.
loved both the North London tours, but do you find the self guided ones aren't as good purely from an informative point of view? I know we get the headsets but let's be honest there's only so long we can listen to Lee Dixon rabbit on on the Emirates tour 😅
@@RysFootyParadise You absolutely on point. That's where Utd did it right, loved their guided tour and the banter, and despite the condition, Utd also had one of the nicest museum. 😄
just came across your channel mate cnt believe uve only got 12k subs... they will up m8 all the best n great vids good that u look about outside the ground aswell i went to the emirates in 2013 wid my son it was my first time as we live in carlisle so bit of a journey but loved it mate n visited the old hibhbury aswell n walked through the old ground where the flats r we loved it COYG big padded seats for comfort n cheap tickets for the familly end wish n knew that wen we plyed chelsea as was in the rafters n £90 per ticket 10 yr ago but familly end was 34 wen u got a little jnr gonner 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉COYG
Pull the blue tape off from the top of the bag, stick the two sides together so that the bag is sealed shut and that’s why you only need one handle. COYS
It's just stunning, yet because it sits in part of the outline of the original ground, and retains the external buildings,it's still White Hart Lane. Pretty much succesfull also as a venue for NFL and concerts too, what i like about it is the same reason i like the redesign of St James Park Newcastle, the roof steelwork is angled fairly flat, which means that even if you sit at the highest point you see all the pitch and all the crowd too. This might seem a fussy point, but i remember going to Old Trafford for Euro 96 Italy v Germany and with the cantilever roof angled downwards (dwarfing Elland Road's former largest cantilever stand record) i couldnt believe how dark & disconnected bieng in the Alex Ferguson stand upper tier was, something i also felt with your Craven Cottage video where the Riverside Stand's original bottom tier is overshadowed by the brand new upper tier, you see the pitch but not the rest of the ground, what i call "pillar box effect".That's just me though,i like to feel part of the action. Other fans may well say "sod that,i want to stay dry when it rains,if the roof is flat im going to get soaked" 😊
Good points mate, I hadn’t really thought about that. The top of the North Stand (SAF) is shite for atmosphere anyway 😁 as much as the Stretford end is the most popular, I always prefer the Sir Bobby Charlton side where the cameras are
🏟️🎒Our bags are the best security design, one handle obvious reason. They are the only bags you are allowed in the stadium. Anti terrorism is at the heart of the design
No need to be so defensive over a plastic bag mate, he was just giving feedback. Normal bags make a lot more sense when it isn't match day. Also, what's the obvious reason for one handle?
Where you are standing now the. part that is boxed of they was meant to build a hotel but they use it for the security and stewards. I wish the I saw you because I would've told you abit about what they are doing and how the original stadium looked as I was born and raised in Tottenham and went the the secondary school right next to the ground an still live in the community. But loving the video keep up the good work
For some reason you can't get to the South Stand and the longest bar, i went on the tour last year and i loved it but i did mention to one of the guides that i was disappointed at not being able to see the bar, and he said they have many people mention the same thing, so perhaps the club should take note.
In 1993 The New Den was opened home of Millwall F.C ( My team!! 🦁🔥) & was thought of as the best around. It still is very very decent. It’s had a few quid spent on it in recent years too. It’s had in time additions to it, Harry’s Bar named after Harry Cripps, the whole hospitality lounge & diner, boxes, press facilities, ect. Now in 2024 Tottenham now have literally thought & dreamed up magical a state of the art everything stadium. So many unique features galore in,out & around this Incredible stadium. Others might be bigger capacity wise but this just has everything & then some. Including character. It’s just ####### Stunning. I have to say for me I am obviously bias to The Den it’s my is No1 football ground & always will be personally. I will say there is a good argument for & some might say Tottenham have the very best purpose built football stadium on the planet. 😎 🌎 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The shop employes 12 extra foreign speaking staff to accommodate foreign visiting fans on matchdays, the club shop is literally full of our friends from across the sea. So basically you walked past the beginning of White Hart Lane... there are two white cottages at the beginning...one of those was the home of Bobby Buckle the founding member and our first ever captain all at the age of 13
The bags have one handle as they are the same ones used on match days. If you tear off the blue strip it seals the bag. But it’s still a bit rubbish for a non match day.
Stadiums visited: 13 Tours: 10 - Liverpool, Everton, Manchester City, West Ham, Newcastle, Fulham, Brentford, Tottenham, Wolves, Crystal Palace Only Visit For Match: 3 - Manchester United, Burnley, Aston Villa Match & Tour: Tottenham, Manchester City Teams Remaining: 7 - Arsenal, Chelsea, Luton, Bournemouth, Brighton, Sheffield United, Nottingham Forest
Bournemouth got ticked off Thursday 😉 video coming soon… Sheffield United Saturday (Vs Villa)… Brighton I have a Tour voucher just gotta pick the day - Luton & Forest are gonna be tricky to get tickets but I’ll be there 😅 (not running tours atm) then there’s Chelsea… cheers for the support mate 😊👍🏾🍻
Our football stadium in Arkansas, US, Razorback Stadium, holds 72,000 and it looks like it would fit inside Hotspur Stadium. This thing is absolutely massive.
As a United fan I'm completely envious of Tottenhams new stadium. I'm Actually more even more embarrassed by old Trafford than ever before. The sooner its modernized or replaced the better.
As a Man United fan I visited Spurs ground but not to see a game did the stadium tour and the club shop. It’s nice looking stadium in UK very modern. Hopefully old Trafford would get same treatment soon.
It's a shame you didn't go on the skywalk to the top of the stadium and pose with the cockerel or try the 'DARE' and abseil down the side. Your video was excellent but there is still so much more of the stadium to see and show.
Great video. If you ever get north of the border how about celtic park anf ibrox? Maybe even venture to the Murrayfield stadium, yes its rugby but an amazing stadium.
Figures based on last seasons revenue. To this we can add future income for F1 track, Naming rights, possible UCL qualification and hotel. Big Ange will bring success on the pitch for sure. Hats off to Levi I guess 👍🏾
I’ve been here to watch the NFL and the stadium is amazing! I couldn’t believe the difference between it and Old Trafford. As a Man Utd fan it’s sad our stadium infrastructure is so dated now and going to ruin. Even with a £1B renovation, it won’t come close to the Tottenham stadium
If united had something similar only 100k capacity minimum possibly 120k what an experience it would be, realistically probably 85k but id be disappointed because they could fill it week in week out for home games.
Great video - Pre prem league/fergie spurs had more Fa cup league cups and European trophies than Man Utd - but since prem league and growth of champions league cups become less meaningful as top 4 become like a cup especially for owners and players wanting to play in it - but also pre prem league no club had more than one double now they’ve become lot more regular - with klopp leaving and maybe pep soon hopefully we’ll take advantage of the finances the stadium brings in and back ange and he can bring trophies and success back - not done the tour just been in game days will have to do it one day def not walking above stadium in skywalk tho
