Most juices actually do have some apple juice in them, because apple juice is usually a lot cheaper than say raspberry, or peach so they use apple juice as a base, and then add the other flavors afterwards. So Ravs actually might be right about the apple flavor being in everything.
and that's why if you want pomegranate juice or something similar, make sure you get 100% pomegranate juice. every blend/mix is gonna be like...50% pomegranate juice if you're lucky because pomegranates are expensive relatively.
The drinks not being directly under the straw holes is madness of the highest order. I struggle to comprehend the disquieting thoughts behind not having them so.
I think the burning soup fucked his palette bad, along with the tobasco after taste. That's the only explanation I can think for the chemical reaction on the tongue to make pickle juice resemble damn marinara sauce. Along with the smells, I guess since taste and smell are linked.
@@Taenarius And I can say from experience(trying to make soup spicier), that diluted, that is basically what it tastes like(minus most of the pepper) -_-
I'm so sorry I didn't know you were lactose intolerant... Continues to serve multiple milkshakes. I love and respect how you took this trend to another level with the amount of variety.
🎶 track? It’s *Sent Up the River* by *The New Fools* - and yes we are THRILLED to be your trusted provider. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dl0kyuLnYUk.html // Epidemic Sound
I’m pretty sure drinking through a straw changes the flavour profile on your tongue quite a bit. Hence why something familiar like peach iced tea tastes different.
You're mostly missing the tip of your tongue, which is the main receptor for sweet tastes, while simultaneously getting more bitter, the back of your tongue.
Never heard anyone describe Julmust as tasting like grape-flavouring, then again I've never had that much grape-flavoured drinks or candy. I'd say that Julmust is a less sweet version of other cola products and mainly tastes of burnt sugar. It was made in early 20th as a non-alcoholic alternative to dark beers like porter. This was grand btw! Consider doing more if you enjoyed and don't be afraid to include other Yogs. Would have absolutely loved if you had Osie along on this one, for example.
Nearest thing that tastes like Julmust in the UK is the Carribbean "Super Malt" drink you get in newsagents, mainly because they're both malt based drinks.
As a Swede (where Julmust is from, so Ravs is correct), I'd say it tastes sweeter than other cola products. That's not important though. It is important that it is one of my favorite sodas however. 😆 We also have Påskmust, which is the same, except that it's for Easter. As Julmust is for Christmas. It's also the reason why Coca Cola isn't a Christmas drink in Sweden.
At first i was sad about the grape taste of Julmust. Then i got a shoutout and got happy! Cheers mate! Maybe i should sent a crate or three for the whole office
SMELLL!!! Thats why they taste different in your hand vs inthe box. by keeping the drink in the box you cant smell as you drink which is a huge part of the flavour
And also, everything tastes of apple probably cause it is apple in base, since its cheaper to use apple juice and flavour it than to use fruit juice. And for the tabasco, much of the volume of hot sauce is vinegar, so that is why that is what you tasted
The box blocks the smell. Drinking directly fron the bottle you can smell it easier too. Smell is super important for taste. So i think thats why its tasting different. The box is a handicap visually and for smell.
I think there reason it tasted different when it was in his hand is because he could smell it as well as taste it, lots of our perception of flavour comes from smell
What kind of hellish torment have Rav's tastebuds suffered before this when he thinks pickle-brine comes across as something cheesy and then tomato-like?! This poor boy has suffered some unbelievable food crime traumas.
The production on this one was so scuffed it's great 😆. They couldn't even even count the points properly. Also I think Ravs was already at a disadvantage with his broken taste buds, and then removing his sight just made it even worse.
I’m a little worried about watching the weirdest “drinks” while i’m eating but we’ll see. Thank you for your sacrifice, Ravs Update: It was hilarious, I had nothing to worry about 😂
YESSSS now this is the kind of content I'm looking for papa. I immediately thought of papa meat when I saw the thumbnail. It would be fantastic if you'd do more videos like this one. The alcohol one was fucking hilarious and I can only imagine ravsu being that hammered for a video lmao. And you can show us all of the different microwave meals that the UK has to offer, maybe do an England version and then a Scottish version? show us all the different types of things like that! Also just some feedback, you should have done these in categories like papa meat did. like "colas" or "sports drinks" or "lemon and lime" shit like that 😅 Also, all my homies hate choccy malk. ❤❤❤
Like he said, he had it before, and once you had something and then have to cut it off because it will destroy your insides, you remember the taste to avoid it.
“You probably will be sick and shit yourself. But in a good way” Love this one ravs. Any video of any Yogs eating or drinking or taste testing or cooking I have to watch. Is that weird?
I guess it shouldn't be odd, but it's weird in a good way that someone I watch also actively watches other content creators I watch. Intersecting paths I'd never considered, but am all here for!
As someone who tried putting Tabasco in soup(my spicy beef wasn't spicy enough)... diluting it is cheating xD It 100% changes the flavour profile. Ravs' assessment is exactly how I felt when I tried it, I'd almost certainly immediately recognise it, but only because I had that experience. Ouch.
