There were several beautiful women in this episode! Ish/Eesh reminded me of Pam Grier and MJB, and Tara had an Eartha Kit/Hazel Scott look to her. They were all pretty in their own way. Tara and Kia kinda seemed like opposite ends of the same coin: women who probably weren't always the most confident but have been finding themselves over the years and take a lot of pride in their career and academic accomplishments. They seem like women you'd find in cities like NYC (Harlem, specifically), DC, Philly. Cosmopolitan girlies. Nothing wrong with that. Tara is a cutie pie and seems humble and loving. I would've liked her and Cliff together, actually. He was such a cutie and nervous and adorable. He seemed like a gem of a guy and just the right temperament for her, but you can tell she's still a little unsure of herself and has some growing to do. That's fine 🙂. Kia, however, was overcompensating A LOT. She kinda made me think that she often wonders out loud to her friends why she's still single. I could hear her saying things like "Why is it so hard to find my match? I'm a great person! I'm fun, loving, well traveled, educated, funny, and "bubbly", so why is it so hard for me? I'm not going to settle. I deserve everything in a man that I want because I worked hard to be who and what I am now". On the face, there's nothing wrong with believing you have a lot to offer, but I think she might be the type to miss out on potential relationships because someone doesn't tick off all the boxes. It's that protective mechanism that seems so intense. Kay and the young lady next to her in the wine red dress look like they're friends and they like to fight LOL. The moment Kay find out even smiled at a female coworker, she's got her finger in your face and finna fight you and her LOL.

OMG!!! No Jess! I agree! I am short as fuck coming in at just UNDER 5 feet and I have never been under any delusion that I need a 6 ft man or taller to make me happy! I dated a dude that was 6'2 and looooook! It's actually kind of an awkward fit and even before I experienced it I always suspected it would be, especially because I don't wear heels. What I look like?! So I'm personally not sure why the shorties (women) do this time and time again!
