Welcome… the… flock… in todays video we will b e looking at… THIS BIG PUSSY CAT… I aint kitten around about this one, its a BIG deal for such a sweet looking Critter
Now lets get into the nitty gritty how do you tame these beauts?
These little buggers are FAST and aggressive they are no.. shy little putty tat.. This putty tat thinks its hunting season and will chase you down with very high speed. The fact that these are so large and fast makes knocking them out much more difficult. I would suggest you use stone gateways and a bear trap to catch them, as you can see on screen right now.
As you could guess this cat is a knock out tame, requiring a decent amount of tranqs to get him to go down. The managarmr is a very fussy eater wanting Exceptional Augmented Kibble.. A new kibble recipe that came to ark with extinction. The extraordinary Augmented kibble wow thats a mouthful.. Is made with the eggs of extra large creatures such as the bronto, giga, quetzal, rex, theri and yuti. Or if you dont have any of that laying around get some mutton or raw prime as its high class taste can be downgraded ever so slightly if it must.
The managarmr saddle can be crafted at level 66, again not a low level tame us disappointing as that is. This saddle costs 150 chitin/keratin, 185 fiber and 350 hide. NICE AND CHEAP
Next up we have the damage stats of the managarmr
These are the stats of a 150 PERFECT TAME coming out to 225.
Stat wise this came out to 5k health, stamina 1k, oxygen 500, food, 12k.. Wow useful..weight 450, 314 melee, movement speed 158, torpor 11k
Lets see if there is a paw-sibility that it will regain hope with is attack stats
The left click bite/swipe coming in at 109 damage
The frost breath coming in at 40 damage per half second
You can also vertical jump, jumping very high very fast from invisibile stepping stones, from the air you can frost breath, strafe or do a fast dash forwards
Stamina wise this frost breath hurts… But Un-fur-tunately.. It gets worse for the Managarmr, it loses 100 stamina on its first jump then another one hundred is added for every jump, for example your first jump is 100 stam, second costs 200, third costs 300 and so on, this does reset when your managarmr touches the ground, making it very speedy but.. Not for long periods of time.. Strafing costs 120 and the lunge forward costs 45 stamina
It may not all be bad though because the managarmr does have some real possible strengths as a defense dino for example:
Being able to freeze dinos that are tanking your turrets, more convenient than the snow owl because this kitty can freeze people from a distance air or ground, also not healing the frozen enemy, keeping them trapped in a turret till they die or till help comes.
This great big snake like cat is not useful in close quarters, have very little health and not doing that much damage, being much more suitable as a harasser from long distances.
One other talent this kitty has is being so fast its able to catch up and ambush you really quickly, being able to sneak up on unsuspecting enemies faster than any other creature. With its alright health this is very good for taking down smaller mounts.. Just not velonasaurs.. Stay away from them okay? Those walking turrets are dang-er-ous.
But talking about turrets? This feline will leave your enemies HISS-sterical, its dash attack being so fast it can avoid turret fire, unfortunately you cannot hold a rocket launcher or flamethrower while mounted on one of these.. Now a common thought that even I had was that you could possibly strap c4 to it and have your very own bomber. The taming process isnt that difficult so this would have made this a very efficient option, we ALL remember when wyverns could do this.. Now that was a nightmare. But unfortunately the devs have made it so c4 merely passes through the Managarmr
The fact it can avoid turrets though can still be useful, if you stack weight on your managarmr you could in some circumstances make it through the first layers of turrets on some base defenses to set up a base or your tek teleporter… I am positive some of you more PvP minded people will find some really sneaky ways to deal with this
Lets talk about some PAW-some builds for the managarmr
If you want to go with the above strategy then its all weight, health and stamina.
In general if you want to get around you should really pump a lot of stamina into it, it doesnt come with great amounts of stam and falling out of the air can get annoying even though you dont take fall damage. Another fun one to play around with is movement speed, making it a highly mobile mount very fast to get around the map.
