Hello, I used the ping command and kept it going through the firewall's block zone switch and noticed something strange. 1) Case 1: when I switch from block to allowing, it feels very normal. 1) Case 2: when I switch from allow to block, the packet still reaches the destination machine successfully, it will ONLY fail when Ctrl+C and retry. I think this is a serious problem when the attacker's work continues even though the firewall has prevented it.

@@beanologi Congratulations! I am currently studying for the CompTIA Linux+ exam and planning to study for RHCSA after. May I ask how long it took you to prepare for the RHCSA exam?

@@inteliconn995 Thank you! I wish you the best with your certs! I had a year-long voucher for the RHCSA but I really only seriously prepared during the final 3 months before the voucher expires. Prior to those 3 months, I read two RHCSA books and took notes on them. I think my studying would have been more efficient if I just did more practice from the start.

@@wernyny2222 Hi, I am wishing you the best for your exam. While I can’t share the specifics of the exam with anyone, my overall experience was positive even though I was nervous. My exam last year was remote and I had a good proctor. I watched the RedHat videos about the remote exams and it helped me familiarize with the environment before exam day. The questions are worded crystal clear. You might even finish the exam early, many people do, but it is a very good idea to double check your system configurations are persistent so the scoring system can parse it. Okay hope the helps. 👍
