Managing and Removing Google Family Link Child Accounts 

Do you know what bday they set your account as and which country? Google will automatically change the supervision across by sending you a change over email if you qualify. Email google and let them know and they will ask for your identity. Then, you can switch it without your parents.

If your account is over 13, google will send an email to the child's account to take charge of his/her account and remove the family link. Please check your past emails because you might've missed it.

It depends on the country. If your country has a higher age range then you will have to wait. You can check this here: support.google.com/accounts/answer/1350409?sjid=4620685529209605442-AP

If you can't see the remove supervision option, make sure you have received the email from Google which transfers your child's account to become a "non-child account". This happens when your child turns the legal age of your country to have a self managed google account. You can find this email in your child account's gmail, then search for the email. Open it up and it will allow themselves to remove from family.

Sounds like the device is still stuck in supervision mode. Try this Remove the account fully from Family Link on your phone by going to the supervision app and then taking the supervision off there. Double-check the supervision settings to make sure it’s turned off. If it’s still not working, you might need to do a factory reset on your child’s device and set it up again without Family Link. To change your country information, Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device. Tap the profile icon in the top right. Settings General Account and device preferences Tap Country & profiles. Tap the country where you want to add an account. Add a payment method for this country by following the onscreen instructions. Tip: It may take up to 48 hours for your profile to update. Important: If you change your country, you must wait one year to change it again.

I suppose that's possible but all you have to do is go into your account and check what age you are. Also you can check to see if you are a family member from your profile if this is the case.

The account is technically linked to yours so if they are of age, then you can just use any computer to log into his gmail. Once there, you can look for the email that google sends to switch. If they are not of age, you will have to wait. If you want to remove them before that by deleting you can follow the instructions in the video but once deleted, they will no longer have the email account.

This didn't work for me when I tested it. You may be able to contact support and let them know that you've made a mistake on the bday but when I tried it change it as a test, it popped up with a stop msg.

Once deleted, it will be gone forever. If you want to remove the permission, you have to wait till your child is of age (13 in most countries).

Yes, it is possible. But put that account for tomorrow (+1 day) at 13 years, not 14. Wait for one or a half of the day (depending on the time zone), and you and your kid will receive an email about supervision. Everything after that is going easy. I did it. Good luck.

no the email doesn't get removed unless you remove it before they turn the appropriate age. After they turn the required age, the parent and child will receive an email that tells them they can choose to either keep supervision or let the child supervise themselves.

Log Out: Make sure you're logged out of any other Google accounts on the device. Add Account: Add your daughter's school account as a secondary account on the device. (click a new tab on google chrome then click your profile pic, then click add another account) Sometimes school accounts have specific restrictions from the school's IT so if you run into issues with permissions you can contact them about it.
