Till thanks for the comment. One of my favorite things about the XC40 is the acoustics are really good. The high performance system is the standard and it is 10 speaker system and is quite crisp. However I definitely recommend the Harmon Kardon. It has 14 speakers and a sub woofer which really makes all the difference. If you always put music on when you get in the car then it is $800 well spent.

Franz in the old Sensus system, you could only save a new setting if the key was on the backup reader usually in cup holder. This protects your saved profile. You could also protect your profile in settings. Unfortunately this is not possible anymore and I’m not thrilled about it either. Here is what I do. On your driver door is the memory buttons. Press M and in 5 seconds press 1 or 2 and save seat and mirror. If anyone messes up your profile just hit that save button and you are back to normal and it re-saved on the key. Hope that helps

That's a great question. I have not seen any major apps like Facebook, RU-vid. I started using mine last November and since then the number of apps have grown a lot. Most are streaming, radio, charging, parking etc.. I am sure there will be more added over time. That is what I love about OTA updates and having a play store. Happy holidays!

Sorry I didn't see your question. I love pilot assist. I usually work 55 hours a week and a lot of them are late nights/long days. In the past I have found myself drifting or driving badly because I'm in a hurry to get home. Now I just let the pilot assist drive and manage. I feel safer and get to enjoy great music on the Harmon Kardon system and feel happy that I burn zero gas in the process. That whole experience is what makes me love my brand! Don, thanks for the reply. In order to adjust the steering wheel heat and seat heat, first open the climate control panel. At the top right there are three dots to expand the menu for climate control. It will give you an option to make seat heat come on automatically and you can also choose then level you want it on. With the radio stations, the only thing I can think of as an option is to save favorites by opening up the menu and hitting star on the ones you like. I would also suggest that you can also open up the settings menu and click on profiles and then connect a key to the profile so that it saves all your setting to the key. Hi Andy, I am planning to order an EX30 this year and my understanding is that it will come with the digital key. I also believe it is going to be on EX90. However I know longer work in Volvo sales so cannot comment on any other models. It just happened to be something that came up in my research for the new car. Would love to to have this and park assist pilot! Thanks for watching

@@JebRevsUp thank you. The Digital key was a feature advertised for their cars a few years ago (5-6 years) but it seems the feature was dropped. I can open and start my car (S60 MY23) with the Volvo cars app, but I'm not able to drive it unless I have the key inside the car.

Michal, yes absolutely you can both control the car. First you should create a separate profile for each, make sure the second profile has make an owner selected. Then each of you create separate Volvo cars account. Each profile has one account, same with Google. However both of you will have access to car through the app. Thanks for watching

The only time something like that happened to me I was not actually in the owner 1 profile to start with. Go to the top of the screen. There are two small bars. Pull that down and it will have active profile in top left and notifications window underneath it. No matter what it says, Physically tap that profile and the tap the owner 1 profile (original one car came with even if renamed) and ensure car is in that profile. The try and see if it goes out of guest/secondary owner and into owner 1 and if that solves it. If that doesn’t work speak to your service advisor you may have a larger issue. The red key are very restricted keys. Typically what you would give to valley or teenager if you are wanting to control speed and data access etc. You may want to chat to your service advisor to see if they can unblock your profile. I personally would pay for a new black key and keep the red one as a spare. I like the idea of having a restricted key just in case you lend the car or valet park it.

Ah but when I use my wife’s keys I am subjected to Lionel Ritchie as soon as I turn the car on!

Dan you cannot share your Volvo on call account. However your wife can sign up for her own Volvo cars app, use a different email from the one you are using.
