For anyone wondering what happened to Michael Chin, he is currently fighting a lawsuit against his material as there is legal proof that he is a scammer. He completely copied information from another trading company and made it out to be his own all while also charging 3 times the price of that company (Price Action Trading System). Any content you liked from him or Riley Coleman (his accomplice) were stolen. They both will not be coming back.

After paper trading less volatile stocks, I can see how mini futures could make you pay for mistakes fast. But I also see the benefits in having leverage and getting past the pdt rule. Will probably start on micro futures when I swap to cash. I recommend saving up and learning all the details to your strategy and not rushing. When I stopped rushing I started to learn faster. Just don't stop learning, have fun, and manage risk.

This does work. HOWEVER, the charts Mike uses doesn't it make it very clear on the patterns or the two-legged pullback. He talk about it quite a bit, but the candles makes it very confusing to see the actual patterns. I managed to figure out how to make it crystal clear and also managed to put several concepts together and now it's all come together. After all these years, with the help of his videos, the theory matches the reality. As a result I have had some HUGE gains. No guess work, no over thinking. I FINALLY, got there.

Love these live replays - really insightful for new traders. One thing I would mention is that this is YOUR strategy and it works for you personally. For a newer trader, they shouldn't try to force their mentality into your strategy. They need to figure out what works for them and that may be something totally different! Either way, great content and keep it up!

Nice video, I have come to the realization that with the right strategy and experience, day trading stocks would indeed be very profitable. I started trading the Stock market 1 years ago. So Michael’s last video was in March 2020.... when the market melted down for awhile. I hope he didn’t blow up his account. He had some great, valid tips in his videos. One thing that concerned me while watching was that he seemed to be emotionally invested (no pun intended) in the outcomes at times. The sooner you can separate emotion from execution and following through on your plans the better. “Trading in the Zone” by Michael Douglas is a MUST read for any day or swing trader. I’ve been investing in the market for 26 years and day/swing trading for 7. I retired at 48 and do a couple hours of trading most days just to keep an eye on things and to add to one of my trading accounts for “fun money”.

Appreciate that you uploaded this scalping series. Was very intrigued. was actually going to purchase your course. However the more i watch your videos the more inconsistencies i see. 1. you draw your "two-legged pullbacks" differently on almost every video. The way you draw them you could essential justify any three bars in the market as a 2 legged pullback. 2. On this video at trade 2:45 - the way you explained it you could have taken this trade just a couple bars earlier and you would have got smoked. Interesting that you chose this one. 3. you say not to trade against hte trend though you have a couple videos where you went against it and just happen to call the bottom. In your videos you draw a triangle where you entered a position. In Ninja trader you can have your trades printed, yet you choose not to make them visible. I'm starting to believe this is just a demo account created in order to sell a course. You and Riley are great at marketing, I will give you that.

Michael, there are no mistakes in trading when you follow a strategy, just bad trades, just have to move on. I think what's happening is that you are shaking in the entry a bit because of the volatility, 2 things I would recommend, reduce your size, if you need to move to micros and trade half the size that's ok, you are accounting for volatility, it is ok to reduce size.. and second increase your targets, and stops, if your average profit in 1 contract is 3 points then by cutting your size in half with micros and increasing your target to 6 points you get to the same destination but you wont be questioning yourself every trade. The greater the volatility the greater the target and the stop and the smaller your size, no reason to make it a painful experience every time you trade.

This is an okay method but the alpha Fibonacci is way better, it’s basically what this guy is doing except without a fib chart and a lot more other stuff lol, but glad this is working out for him, although I would like a update bc it’s been 2 years.

I am a new trader but have done a lot with risk management as this is a key area to success. Have you thought about using the ATR when you have a runner. I.e placing the runner at break even when trade has won Then when the runner breaks 1.5x the ATR trail you stop at 1.5x ATR. You would stand a better chance of catching those runners.

Yep He is a scammer. I went and tried everything he said. Lost money. I learned that he is not on the live version, which you don't see or he doesn't show what version he is on. So he will only report the ones where he wins ON THE SIM VERSION and not the live version. Luckily i was able to realize he was full of crap and only lost about $700. Sad to see how people are willing to screw hard working people just for the sake of profit.

Definitely an interesting approach. I'm no expert in scalping, but I believe you would need at least a consistent 80% win rate for this strategy to begin to make sense. Even still you wouldn't be making windfall profits. If you're risking 400 for 150, that means you need to win 37.5 trades for every 10 you lose. Very interesting. Maybe you can explain how exactly this strategy works in a future video.

Can you go into more depth with you “two legged pullback” strategy

It's pity that Michael Chin-a has disappeared but I imagine, like others saying here, that the volatile market has eaten him and his account. Not much the volatility as the risk one is exposing himself and becomes greedy. That's the biggest issue with discipline why traders does not last for long. I just realised in this video after watching it 2-3 times that he mentiones on planning to increase his reward from 1 point to 2-3 and with the strategy that he is using, especially in counter trend position, honestly you can't go for more than a point which he had mentioned himself earlier but probably he thought in this way to make bigger money and faster. However with the risk double size of reward it's very risky and thus increasing the target from 1 to 3 points this strategy goes success rate from 95% as he says down to 50 or less imo. His videos are though useful and fun, I have learnt more and fun to see as I like scalping and I first started more than 10 years ago, I had won and lost a lot cause I was greedy and not disciplined so I had taken break for few years and just recently came to look and watched several videos about trading again and I'm planning to restart and follow strictly the rules and strategies I have learned recently also from Michael and with discpline will see where it goes. I got these days a demo account though with full time job has been hard to watch the charts but next week I will try and maybe then make a channel like this one if everything goes well and maybe you guys can see and learn something and continue these kind of series where our buddy stopped though I will focus on 2 types of entries from strategies/paterns but with different Risk Reward and on Forex instead of stocks or futures which are not my cup of tea. Let me guys know if you want me to update you later. Not with my current channel but will be another trading channel of course :) *Happy trading!* PS. In order to learn more, keep watching the same videos more times those you think are good, like these ones but also see where he makes mistakes and is risky when the price reverse immediately and could have lost if it wasn't for 1 point target. From only one time watching or reading smth, we retain only 10%. So in order to master it you must capture it well on memory and not thinking later during live trading how was this, what could be the scenario, should I open position or not. Although every trade is different, the market repeates over & over again. Keep learning and get better

not sure if you mentioned about the all costs for future trading, but if you will, can you make a video regarding the monthly costs to trade futures, not to mention the P&L, just the commissions, exchange fees (this seems to be the most expensive, more than the commissions), data fees, regulatory fees, ... they can add up quickly. Esp. for us, get in and out more frequently (take profit too soon or stop loss a little too late). People might make more trades, but cost will build up. Thanks for the clips.
