Nice 👍 , I also heard that Manassas Airport could operate commercial flights soon there for the next 2 years which could probably be easy for me and my family to travel quicker.
You can use the new 66 East Express Lanes to access the IAD Airport. This is also the very first opportunity to exit the eastbound express lanes from any entrance from Sudley Rd on west. If you enter the express lanes at the Sudley Rd vicinity, the toll price is cheaper than entering at Balls Ford Rd/Century Park Dr or any point west of that. The auxiliary lane on 66 East should return.
Imagine taking this 66 East exit to Route 28 North during rush hour in the regular lanes with the final, permanent configuration. When that time comes, the auxiliary lane is permanent. You should also do a video entering 66 East from US 29 in Centreville trying to merge onto the 66 East traffic during rush hour with the full auxiliary lane. Do you think you’ll be able to merge out of the auxiliary lane before it ends at the Route 28 North exit during rush hour? This area is known for being a heavy weave nightmare since a lot of the 66 East traffic is expected to take this exit to Route 28 North. You can also expect the entering 66 East traffic to try to cross 3 lanes to access the 66 East express lanes just after the Route 28 North exit.
Great video! I would be very happy if you get me the video of South Riding in Loudoun County as my cousins stay there, & also Chantilly in Fairfax County.
6:09 When will the 66 East to 28 North ramp traffic be on the left of the separated barrier which would merge with Route 28 North traffic after crossing the Braddock/Walney Rd bridge on the Braddock Rd side with the bridge support pier separating this traffic from the Route 28 South traffic? I definitely expect you to upload any trip that utilizes the 66 East to 28 North ramp maneuver from the 66 East Express Lanes.
