Manatees Lou & Lil' Joe at SeaBase Epcot

It has been 23 years since I first heard Barbara Manatee, and I STILL get it stuck in my head every time I see the manatees at Epcot or watch vids about them! Thanks for the relaxing video, much needed today!

Beautiful! The first time I ever saw manatees in person was at Epcot.

Since I live in Florida, and we own a boat... We see them in their natural habit often... We still are awe struck when we are so lucky to see them... Everyone stops their boat and just floats and watches them... I love it when we see them in a pod and they have a baby... they are truly a wonder to see in the wild... We love visiting Lou and Lil' Joe, at Sea Base Alpha... We just has a visit with them 2 weeks ago... If you are vacation and want to get out of the Parks, and see a bit more of what close by.. " Blue Springs State Park" is where the manatee come during the later parts of the year, November is the best month... This past November there where hundreds of them in the springs.. and there is a nice observation area, picnic and restrooms, as well they offer Kayak rental, and a boat tour... It's a nice day away from the parks... and into what real Florida is like...
