MANBILY HUNTING TRIPOD. 

Hello William, Blimey! It’s such a relief to get these messages from viewers of my videos. I’m glad you’re happy with the tripod, I do get regular emails from the manbily office, and they’re already in the process of a colour change of the kit. They have sent me a photo of a new colour last week, but I’ve kind of rejected it, as it’s still a bit glossy and an odd shade of 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ Well I don’t know really 🤔 I’ve sent them a picture of my bike that is Matt black, sort of Stealth fighter black, so I think their paint team are now on the job 👍👍 Thanks very much for your message, I hope a lot of folks actually read these comments and understand that even though the kit is a lot cheaper than others, it’s still worth having 😉

@@predatorprotectionuk To be perfectly honest David the colour does not matter, abroad they wear blazing orange from head to toe and still have a lot of succes I personally am not bothered about its colour I'm sure I will have as much success in the roe rut as anyone else. But I have practised with the rifle every day for 46 years 8 months 3 days it said on my retirement card. Lol Waiting for my long service civil servant medal coming lol. Got the engraved watch already though. 😆

Hello David, well that’s a great positive comment to post, so folks can see for themselves they’re not wasting their money or time on the products. I think the tripod and clamp are great and value for money. The clamp is miles better than the clamp on my Rekon 👍

Hi Chris , Yes it was , but at the time they were the knees of the bees. I think this new brand have got it right with the clamp, they just need to get a more subtle colour scheme

I can confirm that it’s suitable for carrying the weight of a heavy rifle and a new Alpex scope 🫵👍😉

Hi Rob, Have you tried it with the end extension open? To be brutally honest, mine never goes in the bag now it’s set up with the new ball head, back of the car and ready to go. I’m glad you’re happy with it chap, I’m sure they will listen to your feedback and act on it, after all, it’s not an expensive modification is it 🤷🏼‍♂️👍👍

@@predatorprotectionuk All thanks to you Sir 👏👏& They can doubt all they like mate, I've just ordered another one it's that good. I've had the Rekon tripod for 3 years, love it, but good god it's way way to expensive & virtually the same. I'd go as far as saying they are from the same factory.

@stevenlord782 I’ve just spent a couple of hours modifying my clamp to now fit into the ARCA picatinny QR mount. I’ve explained why in the video that’s just gone out now. I’ve done it and it works great

Hi Peter With that ball head you can drop the rifle in the vertical position if needed.

@@predatorprotectionuk Hi David, thanks for the quick reply. The pan and tilt allows you to do both movements you need to aim the gun but it doesn't allow the gun to flop over to the side when you loosen the ball clamp, so I thought it is preferable to the ball head. Hope that makes sense.

@@predatorprotectionuk Forgot to mention I got a Manbily U3 clamp based on your recommendation. What a great bit of kit. By the way I've got PCP as well as the ProSport.

@peterballemy9929 flopping over to the side will put the scope into standby, so that’s a good thing 👍

Hello chap, the Manbily website is predominantly for photography and video stuff. They are now trying to separate the themes up and have a dedicated site for the likes of us. I’ll be in touch with them this week and will ask the question 👍

Hi John, I’ve just had an email from my contact at Manbily, she has seen your comment and has told me that they will be making the shorter centre stem as well. I’ve suggested it’s included in the kit like the Rekon, and then you can decide which one you want to use. You see, I said that I’d get the answer for you 👍👍

If you’ve set the tripod up properly and tightened all the adjustments up, how can it possibly fall over ? The moral of the story is this. Don’t walk away from your rifle !

@@predatorprotectionuk I saw a video of a guy that put the legs too close together, a video of a guy that put the tripod on muddy (unstable) ground and I saw a video of a guy just bumping into it.

@MightyRude well it’s them you need to direct you comments about the tripod and clamp being unreliable. It’s all down to the end user and not the product. They are probably the sort of drivers that don’t put the handbrake on, when parked on a flat road , coz it ain’t gonna roll away is it 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣

Imagine going into the comments and admitting you leave your firearm unattended

@@MJSherwood I’ve seen multiple videos on RU-vid of people walking away from a firearm that’s clamped on a tripod, but I haven’t seen anyone admitting they leave their firearms unattended in the RU-vid comments yet.
