Thanks for another review Paul! Well produced as always and about a fragrance house I adore, easily in the top three best value niche houses. I don't really like Mancera going the flanker route with all this "intense" flanker business since their lineup is already so overcrowded but one has to admit, they haven't missed with them smell wise.
I'm excited for this one. I have the OG and love it, but I'm a Mancera and Montale nut (about 40 or so from both) so I'll end up buying it. I bought Cedrat Boise Intense, owning a bottle of the OG and I'm glad I did, they give me quite different impressions. Different enough for my nose, but I'm sure nobody else will notice. I like that Mancera are making positive revisions to their lines without destroying the originals.
I've yet to try the OG but am very interested in it, I had a sample of Instant crush which I gave a wearing of, I wasn't that impressed by it, felt like it smelled like a rose milkshake which doesn't suit my olfactory palette! Great review Paul keep the content coming!
Thanks for your comment Spencer. Yes Instant Crush is one that divides opinions in the same way red tobacco does but they are totally different so you should definitely give it a go and see what you think. 👍
So essentially a more “Mass Pleasing” Red Tobacco? Looks at Cedrat Boise Intense. The regular Cedrat Boise is more for hot summer days while the Intense is more for colder seasons, so that release makes sense. Both the Intense and regular Red Tobacco are for winter so what’s the point?? I love The opening on the regular and found it unique! I don’t know if I would want that gone.
