I have both fragrances & they’re used differently, Argos Triumph of Bacchus for close encounters, date night, and special occasions, Mancera Red Tobacco for clubbing, bar hopping, hanging out with the fellas. Great review Brian..

Hmmm...I was so excited to get Truimph pf Bacchus....smelled great but performance on me HORRENDOUS. Red Tobacco the Red Beast..Performance nuclear. The winner between T of B and RT is......Parfums de Marley Carlisle. Now that is a true stunner. Superb. Thanks for the content. Be safe.

Great comparison! I do see these two names get thrown in together a lot. I havent tried Red Tobacco, but I know the Argos is a stunner! You know me, I'm all for a collection tour! Haha I'll have to shoot you an update of my collection as well. It's grown quite a bit this year. 😏

….you show me yours and I’ll show you mine!! 🤣 Yeah, I’m not crazy about Red Tobacco. It’s smells really good just smells really really synthetic in my skin. But holy smokes Triumph of Bacchus is a killer fragrance!!! You can 100% smell the naturals, samesys for all of Argos’s other fragrances, AND to top that off they are blended perfectly with what synthetics they do use. The juice is absolutely worth every dollar in my idiot opinion! I can’t get enough! Another great video brother!!

So I love a good tobacco fragrance... I don't have either of the 2 in this review but I do have Arimas Tobacco Reserve, Pure Havane by Mugler, Xerjoff Naxos, and Victorian Tobacco by Galleria Parfums. These two you just compared are definitely on the list to acquire. Great video as usual. Thanks!

The opening made me think of Spaceballs,lol. Muhammad Ali references. Great review of the differences. I love Red Tobacco and would love to try the Argos when I can afford it. I really searched for Tobacco frags and love them. Recently been trying to get more coffee frags. Would love to see your collection.

Both are really great and I'm glad to have both in my collection. Red Tobacco is a little dirty and rugged. I like that. On the other hand, Triumph of Bacchus is very refined and sophisticated. Classy. I really enjoy both of them.

I’ve always wondered about triumph. I do have red tobacco but I also have Carlisle and to me they both smell very similar so even though I would be interested in trying or at least smelling Try amp I just keep thinking to myself do I really need another bottle when I already have 240 ML of this scent profile? Bro, you’re really throwing me for a loop these past couple videos and I’m literally having to guess lol. Triumph is a waste of money, its basically watered down red tobacco. While the opening of red tobacco is harsh, the drydown is strikingly similar and red tobacco performs better. Don't believe the hype or fall for the nice bottle, spend your money on something else.

I am gonna use Layton Exclusif or Aramis Tobacco Reserve for formal occasions. I heard that the projection and longevity of Triumph of Bacchus suck.

Those are great choices brother. I actually really good longevity and projection out of Bacchus, but everyone's skin works different. If you ever can you should get a sample and give it a test.

@@My2Scents I love the presentation of it but it's not exactly cheap, nor does it show up on discounters. You have to pay retail for it. I got Mancera's Red Tobacco and am very happy with it. I get some shoe polish smell but I don't mind it. There is also another tobacco frag called Tobacco Rojo by Babylon Fragrances and the longevity and performance on it are out of this world. It has a sour and somewhat bitter liquor vibe that smells like earthy wine with a green tobacco smell. I highly recommend it.

I have been looking for reviews on Triumph of Bacchus but it seems like is targeted more for man even tho is unisex (im a woman) ? Uhm, I dont have the Mancera one but I dont really like the house so much as for me all of their parfums are beasts and not in the good way always, the only one for me that really is worth it is Aoud Vanille but hey, thats my opinion. Anyway, from all of the reviews it seems like the tobacco note is the predominant one, is it similar to Initio Side Effect? because I LOVE that fragance and the sweet tobacco in it; good thing is that in the Argos web you can find 30ml bottles, I think I will splurge on that once I recover myself from a Floraiku order I made this month, lol RIP my wallet.
