Looking at all the footage I totally agree with the caller. You DO NOT attack emergency workers especially those with guns.

@nektarios5291 Месяц назад
@@andrewbrooke7647 Hence why the suspect was detained and will be charged. Stamping on the suspects head is equally not acceptable, and on top of that has likely endangered the chance of getting a secure conviction due to the use of excessive force on the suspect.

What if the "emergency workers" attack you? You just sit there and take it? 23 seconds into the original footage, a guy who had been sitting on a bench the entire time with his hands up and doing nothing threatening was forced off the bench at gunpoint, hit in the gut and then smacked in the back of the head. If he was a soldier and had literally shot three civilians dead beforehand, that would be unacceptable behaviour on the police's part. As is, he had simply been involved in a fight that the police prompted.
@Realistic208
@Realistic208 Месяц назад
@@kieranharwood7186are you for real? Clearly a bit dense. They were arresting him and he resisted arrest. The man you said "was just sitting there with his hands in the air, he didn't do nothing" Viciously assaulted the police officer whilst carrying out the initial arrest. You may be trying to protect them but those two men are violent thugs, if they can do that to the police, what carnage are they causing on the streets.

@@nektarios5291 Where in the law does it say you can attack the police? Where does it say you can resist arrest. Are we living in a lawless society, where people can do what they want. Initially, I agreed the officer should be on suspension and possibly lose his job but not after seeing what he experienced. He will be investigated for sure but his response wasn't a premeditated attack. This was a split second decision against a very dangerous individual, who wasn't restrained, the effects of the taser was wearing off and he was confused, fearful and filled with adrenaline. The first police officer who threw the first punch has put all of his colleagues in danger. It was an unnecessary cause of action. If he hadn’t done this, this situation could’ve been handled much easier. It provoked and gave reason for a response from both the man who was attacked (he wasn’t being arrested, so this would be self defence) and the man who was being arrested. It got out of hand and the police are supposed to be trained to avoid causing such escalated situations. This video doesn’t exactly help them here. CPS may accept such a case to go to court, but it will be aware that it can easily lose this case as the aggressors were the police as they threw the first punch and they had an officer kicking a man and stomping him whilst he had already been neutralised. The same officer then went and kicked the other man who had already sat down with his hands on his head. It will be very tough for the police to explain why this force was used. The officer who kicked and stomped the head of someone who’s already been tasered has, without doubt, used excessive force. A taser is used to neutralise someone, physically assaulting them afterwards is beyond unnecessary, let alone kicking them on the face and stomping the back of their heads. It is both cowardly and brutal. That specific officer is suspended and a criminal investigation is underway, however I don’t see him being sacked. What is more likely to happen is that once this story dies down, he’ll be put behind a desk for about a year, with a review of bringing him back out (if he is liked by his senior staff).

I initially was saying.. "he can't kick a man in the head like that". But having watched the blurred video, I'm not convinced now, his INTENT was to kick him in the head. I think he was stomping on his hand to get something out of the man's hand... who had been delivering boxing punches to FEMALE Police Officer. I'm not even convinced the Policeman actually made contact with the man's head. It looks like it was two kicks to his hand, which was near his head. And, let's not lose sight of the WOMAN who has a broken nose, through being PUNCHED repeatedly by a strong, fit, young man. HE is no victim.

That one of the brothers punched the Policeman AND punched his mother badly enough she was crawling on the floor. Armed Police are told NOT to use their hands, in case they lose their gun. So, they are left using their feet, if a loaded gun doesn't stop an aggressive member of public in their tracks. Those two brothers were not stopping. They punched three Police Officers, breaking the nose of one, the guy in blue punched the Policeman multiple times, and rabbit punched him on the back of his head. If that had been an airport in any other country with armed Police... those 2 brothers would have been shot dead. They are alive, despite their actions... BECAUSE the Policeman DIDN'T shoot them. He tried to restrain that one with his feet... the only thing he could do, as he was holding a gun. Still not 100% convinced he kicked the guy's head. AND.. punched his own mum three times as she tried to stop him punching the Police Officer, who eventually managed to taser him. And, let's not forget the Police Woman who got a broken nose from a fit, strong young man who was punching anyone who got in his way. Again.. The Solicitor who released the statement about the "cyst on the brain" has not only been distanced by the family of the guys who were punching the Police Officers, but, is also being investigated for another similar situation where he ramped up tensions recklessly. Have you looked at the video BEFORE the guy was kicked, to the destruction created by the two brothers, including multiple assaults on.. Armed Police Officers? If the one Police Officer still standing hadn't "taken that Eedjit out", and he'd got the Policemans gun, and shot Police and public, would you be saying... "Policeman should have kicked the "B"? Context is important. The first video showed a member of public being kicked by Policeman. 2nd video showed the mayhem leading up to that, including two brothers beating up and "disabling" two Police Officers, and.. their own mother. It looked to me as tho his female colleague who fired the Taser put an end to the attack. The officer who kicked and stamped on the assailant’s head appeared to do so after he was no longer a threat. We’ll have to await the findings of the enquiry for the definitive version of events.
@VR-mq3jt
@VR-mq3jt Месяц назад
By "no longer a threat" you mean by which time he had violently assaulted several Police officers, including women, including one being left with a broken nose, one with a possible broken jaw, and anarchy in a public space such as an airport!
@mike747436
@mike747436 Месяц назад
@@VR-mq3jt Yes, precisely. He had carried out the assault as you say, but appeared to be subdued, i.e. tasered and prone on the floor, at the time the officer kicked and stamped on his head. There is no legal recourse for an officer to carry out revenge or retribution. If it can be shown that the assailant was still a threat, then the officer's actions may be judged to have been proportionate. I think this will be the nub of the enquiry.
@VR-mq3jt
@VR-mq3jt Месяц назад
@@mike747436 The guy went berserk and attacked them without any justification. When he subsequently got his head kicked in, that's his problem! Its about time people toughened up a bit and then perhaps we wouldn't see such violent behaviour in the first place!
@mike747436
@mike747436 Месяц назад
@@VR-mq3jt If you watch without prejudice, I think you'll see that the assailant reacts to some aggressive handling of his friends by the officers. That's not a justification btw, but an explanation. Of course it was foolish and criminal of him to attack the officers. The problem for the officer who kicked and stamped on his head, is that he appears to take those actions after the assailant has been subdued and is no longer a threat. Of course there may well be other factors not immediately apparent on the video, and it will be the job of the enquiry to identify those and reach a conclusion.

Never kick a man when he's down,especially inthe face when you're a Police officer, kicking in the face is not part of training and therefore the officer is acting out of control.
