Hi, I might have multiple luggages and 2 are large ones. Where do we put them in the train? Do we need to pay extra for the large luggages? Also, are trolleys available at picadilly station ? Please reply.
Hi and welcome to the channel here is the rules of the Uk National rail n bring on board In general, train passengers can bring up to three items of luggage on board, National Rail says, although National Rail's conditions of carriage state: "You may take a single item of hand luggage that must be capable of being held in your lap if required, plus up to 2 items of luggage each not exceeding 30 x 70 x 90 cm in size” Trolleys are available throughout the station and in the long-stay car park. There is a £1 coin deposit, which is refunded when the trolley is returned to a bay” Having said this you should contact Northern rail for a more direct answer as they decide if extra charge is warranted that’s if they allow this extra luggage as if the train is busy then space is really limited and they more then likely will not let you through the barrier with so much luggage a idea maybe contact a luggage transfer service.Hope this helps 👍
Hey, I've booked train tickets from Manchester airport station to liverpool lime street station and its a direct train. Ive booked tickets in trainline app. Do i have to get a physical tickets from the counter? Or I can just use the e-ticket?
I would collect my paper ticket at the ticket machine as having used trainline myself a lot in London, I always collect the paper ticket at the station machine. But of course if its a e-ticket you have and not a booking number to collect your ticket at the machine this can be used and as the station is not that big it is easy to find your way and help is avalibile just scan your e-ticket at the the barrier and a way you go have a great journey 👍
Hello and welcome to the channel. It is definitely better to book the tickets in advance as you can choose a time that suits and if booked a good week or more in advance you will get the cheaper fare rather then at the day and at the station. You can book your tickets with www.nothernrailway.co.uk or with trainline the third party provider but do consider a good time and possible flight delay if flying with Ryanair for example.Hope this helps and have a great journey 🎄

@@travelbyplanestrainsandcruise ok great! Just two other questions, even though I don’t want to bother you further😇: 1) the ticket is the same with big luggage or is it different? 2) you said 5 minutes from Airport to ticket machines.. are they inside or walking outside the airport? Thank you in advance, I’m coming to uk for the first time☺️
@@travelbyplanestrainsandcruise ohhh ok! I arrive from Italy, hope the distance will be not so long… do I have to stamp or validate the ticket on the train? I’m asking because there can be different systems in some countries. In general I’m asking all these questions because I wouldn’t be overwhelmed when I get to the airport.. I’ll have to reach a residence nearby Manchester Piccadilly, but a transfer agency asked me for 55£ and some people said it’s quite expensive.. so I’m not sure how to proceed
