Guys, I’m a 35 year old grown man, but every time I watch this game back I have tears in my eyes and goosebumps, and I’m not ashamed to admit it, judge me if you wish. I feel it will be ever like this. I supported City for 30 years, Maine Road was my first footy ground I ever went to, all my friends support United or Liverpool, I wanted to be different. This goal changed EVERYTHING!! Aguero and D Silva and Zabaleta were my fave players, so lucky to have them at City all them years, but this Aguero goal will never be forgotten, will be in my heart until the day I die 💪 ⚽️ 💙 keep up the good work mate
@Rhys Owens. Nowt to be ashamed of Pal, I'm 68 yrs. old and I also have tears in my eyes every time I see this. I've just celebrated my 60th anniversary of of my first CITY game (Bolton (A) 03/02/62) I also know what it's like being the only CITY fan when at school. We all had to suffer at the hands of reds, it makes the winning so much sweeter.
@@Sergio-ig1xd thanks for your message of support mate 👍 I live in North Wales, only an hour and a half away from the Etihad so not far at all. Here nearly everybody supports United or Liverpool, mainly because they were winning when growing up. A family from Oldham moved by me when I was 5 years old, huge City supporters, and they invited me and my parents to Maine Road to watch games as I got friendly with their son, BEST choice I ever agreed to. Tough at the time, being surrounded by United and Liverpool fans, some Everton and Leeds fans as well as City fans, but United and Liverpool dominated. And now.. since Aguero’s goal how the tables have turned 😂 well worth all the abuse I copped, now I’m like 🖕 to everybody 🤙
@@RhysOwens86 I now live on The Wirral, on the West side so I'm closer to North Wales than I am to Liverpool. I've always been surrounded by u****d fans and liverpool fans it didn't matter where in the world I was living, there were always reds, like bleedin' rats, they get everywhere. Yes you have also lived through the shite but Rhys Pal it is character building, it makes the winning so so much sweeter. I always think back to '99 at times like this. Without Paul Dickov's goal v Gillingham, we wouldn't have any of these celebrations. Take care Rhys, keep the faith and let's hope in a weeks time we are celebrating yet another title success. C'mon CITY.
can not believe its been 10 years to the day I was there still can't believe what happened thankyou all CITY PLAYERS that was the start of 10 years of trophy dominance best team in the land and all the world mind the gap rags utd one big thankyou to SERGIO AGUERO never will forget .....93.20 CTID.
This game and when Liverpool came from 3 - 0 down at half time v AC Milan in the 2005 Champions League Final are the two matches I will NEVER forget for as long as I live and breath on this earth.
