Hey. The safest bet would be to get an university provided accommodation. You can email to the university if they provide one and can place a request before you arrive to the UK. Alternatively, if you want a room in shared house/flats then you can create a profile on - m.spareroom.co.uk/ . People often advertise rooms on this platform. You can download the app and search rooms in area where you wish to stay. If you are looking for an entire house/flat and want to share it with your friends then you can check websites like Zoopla www.zoopla.co.uk/ and Rightmove www.rightmove.co.uk/ . There are several local property agents too who can help you get a house/flat but that would require you to be here and my suggestion would be to arrange something ahead of your arrival.
