This was a weird one for me , I was acting as a Lone Ranger on Saturday . All the usual gang I knock about with had previous engagements so I had a ride down to Wilmslow on my own . Must have looked like a right Billy no mates lol . I thought I’d make the effort though seeing as it was the Manchester Lyons 70th anniversary , I had no idea they had been going that long .
It was really interesting going into the Wilmslow Rugby club house and seeing all the photos on the wall of decades past . It was a really good turn out and some brave souls even braved the inclement weather to do a weekends camping . Rather them than me .
After speaking to a few friends I bumped into from other clubs everyone seemed to be having a great time and to quote a mate he said Friday night was banging lol. Well done to the Manchester Lyons and congratulations on your 70th anniversary , that’s some achievement , you should be rightly very proud of yourselves . 👍🏻👏🏻🛵👌🦁
