@@pratt11111Your comment is invalid. The first firefighter was upwind, and immediately getting water onto the fire, whilst his colleague donned BA, before taking over the close up attack. One assesses the risk, prior to taking appropriate action.
@@deniswoodbridge7167 sorry video shows otherwise, anytime in a hot zone should always be on air.Eating smoke it's manly these days cancer is a bad way to die
@@Lucyblacklab Firefighting is a dangerous job, and chances are if they were going to get cancer, they'd get it anyway. The 5-seconds they stood in that smoke whilst someone else put on SCBA isn't going to be the one thing that kills them. SCBA isn't a 100% guarantee to be cancer-free anyway. At least these guys put others first, always ready to jump on the fire, and worry about their own health second. It sounds awful, but that's exactly what every firefighter should be. Someone who will neglect their own health to protect others. And I applaud them for it. In the US, even if they have SCBA, still takes them 30 years to get any water on the fire. I don't know how they're so painfully slow.
Wow,,very impressive response on getting water on the fire!! No messing around at all and the size of one firefighter there you ain't going to argue with!! British firefighters rule!!!
No. It's how it's done. Someone gets water on the car from further back whilst another person puts the BA on. When the other person is ready, they take over and get closer. It allows water to be putting out the fire in ~10 seconds, instead of the average 2 minutes seen in the US when they all mess around putting on all their protective equipment.
Well that fiat would be fixed again tomorrow will it bmw are the best car on the road reliable affordable and amazing classy cars BMWs don’t know why people think they are shit if you never had a bmw you won’t know but they are absolutely amazing and reliable and classy
@@davidfogg1845 And this is what's wrong with pro-EV people.. instead of acknowledging how risky EV's are to the point that people now hear "car fire" and instantly think "EV fire", you just blame it on the other person and call them an idiot.
@Perseus7567 you do know, don't you know that an ice is more likely to catch fire than a EV and just were did I call someone an idiot, don't put words in my mouth
