No way - Ole and Van Gaal were way worse. Keep in mind they both were backed in transfers a lot more than Moyes and got more time to implement their style on United. Ole had such basic tactics and left United in the worst form I think you'll ever see United in. Van Gaal's football was so dull and boring which he arrogantly insisted was good attacking football (as stated in the athletic - he thinks possession is attacking). Moyes didn't do well at United but he inherited a squad that had peaked and was in need of a lot of improvements. He took over a Utd side that didn't really invest whilst Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City - hell even Everton and other Prem squads invested. He was unlucky he took over when Gill left - because Woodward was so incompetent and couldn't make the signings Moyes wanted. If Moyes had stayed, Utd were going to sign Kroos (Kroos confirmed this). That would have been better for United than hiring Van Gaal.
@@ILKILO1 Easily as well - Van Gaal at the end of 2 seasons thought he was playing good football! The backwards and sideways football - it was dire. And this was a manager who had been backed pretty strongly. They were going nowhere under Van Gaal, terrible football being played.
@@yesmate3442 you do realize that Van Gaal won a trophy and finished 5th on goal difference with an 11 containing Tyler Blackett, Paddy McNair, Borthwick Jackson, Guillermo Varela, Joe Riley, A 17 year old Marcus Rashford, James Wilson, Andreas Perreira and made somethin out of a 24 year old Jesse lingard who spent his entire career in the championship until than... Like are you ok or? Has someone dropped you on your head? Man was competing with a League 1/ Championship at best side lol
@@ILKILO1 He signed Falcao, Di Maria, Herrera, Shaw, Schnederlin (however the fuck you spell it), Rojo, Blind, Martial, Valdes...and others that don't spring to mind immediately. He was backed plenty. And he can thank De Gea for finishing fifth and winning an FA cup. He was dreadful honestly. 'Has someone dropped you on your head' - great argument.
He did better than the 'philospher' LVG.. Moyes progressed to Quarter Finals of CL.. did pretty well against Bayern in first leg.. LVG couldn't make it out of group stage.
