The worrying thing is not this result but the way they’ve played the entire season. They are very lucky to be where they are and they’ve been woeful his entire season. They’ve been scrapping wins very very narrowly and even those games they were the second best team. Team selection today is crazy. Hodjland and Rashford on the bench behind Martial. I’m not a Utd fan but I watched their first 4 or 5 games. I was honestly shocked how bad they were. They looked like they’d just met each other for a kickabout. And TenHaag looked clueless on the sidelines. He’s completely out of his depth.

watched this game or the most of it and it was like bournemouth sitting back going forward 5 times or so in total n scoring and united having the ball but in the final third without ideas so passing all the time but not producing. for example they say bruno had a bad game but for example he has the ball in midfield and has to play the ball back there is no other option than playing back.
De Gea saved this team last season. However, everyone knew how he was treated. The situation did not stop with De Gea. There's also Sancho, Verane, and Maguire. What is happening to Ten Hag this season is Karma. Most of the goals they have conceded were cheap goals that a high school goalkeeper could comfortably save. Ego will destroy Ten Hag, and I question his understanding of the game. Fighting with the players when they made known their opinion will earn him a sack soon. Why allow De Gea to leave and sell Henderson and Matej Kovar, only to bring in Onana, who has proven that the PL is bigger than he can handle? Why send Fernandez on loan only to turn around and bring in Ruigilon? Who is in charge of youth development, and why were some youths released during the off-season? The thing about ETH is, he brings in this Alpha charisma on discipline and whatnot. Disrespected Ronaldo, had the fallout with Sancho, had Rashy on the bench for stuff, but in reality he doesn’t have the achievements to back those up. Imagine him basically haven’t won anything substantial except the Dutch league, making Ronaldo, one of the best players in world football, and have won basically everything in club football to come in at the 95th minute of the game just to pass time. You have to walk the talk at times, and frankly he don’t have the credentials to back it up.

Bournemouth just did a smash and grab and the United defense was not suited to the style of play required and Ten Hag has to buy at least 2 center backs that suit his style all goal came from an inability to play out from the back this is down to personnel. Erik worked with a DOF at Ajax and he could coach those players and since he left that club its been a decline I know for a fact he's a good enough coach Howe is not better he just has players that a ready to fight and not already overpaid and unbothered when they cam get the manager sacked same thing happened in Chelsea every 2 seasons due to player power in our case these players can't win the league when they turn it on so they should be the ones to go first.

If the goal is not allowed then he should at least be getting a penalty. Instead he's penalised for not diving. Onana is the only keeper in the PL who can clatter and assault opponents in the penalty area and referees don't even look at the incident.

Erik ten Bag needs more time. Clearly his judgement is sound. Just look at all the quality signings he's made. He's not wasted a penny of the hundreds of millions he's spent. Therw were times last year where i couldn't believe manu were top 4 and deep in cups. The often look poor and were skating through based on late, individual brilliancy moments rather than effort and tactics. It all appeared a mirage to me and i couldn't believe we ( liv) finished behind them. So nice 2 c i was right and just deserts have arrived.

How can people keep banging on about it being ETH’s team of the players who have been taking the field, in this match there was 2 who are on loan and 3 here full time including Hojlund and Antony who are in their early 20’s.
McTominay is our top scorer but he is a very big liability defensively. He is just not good enough. Amrabat positioning and decisions are awful sometimes. Bruno is the worst when it comes to retaining the ball and controlling the game and he is not a dribbler at all. I think a very good number 10 should be able to dribble past atleast two players.
Nothing can ever change unless there's a demolition from the top. Glazers, management and recruitment team all have to leave; then there should be a revamp of 9 players who are actually United's standard. Until this, you can bring in any coach and nothing will ever change!

That's why McGhost can't start. He's only useful as a striker, but he literally does nothing else well. I can't deny that he's deserved his starts based off of his goals, but ETH needs to sub him off the minute we don't have control of the game. If we had Amrabat, Casemiro (injured), and Bruno in that midfield, it'd look so much better. And add in Martinez as an inverting CB to stabilize the whole thing.
Shocking performance but why even start with Martial. Why is Varane not playing. Why is Shaw playing centrally and not in his normal position. That's all on ten haag.

There’s too many questions in ETH’s team selection. The funny thing is that when they say "Who could come into United and do what Ange has done at Spurs?", that was Ten Hag last year. He came in, changed the attitude, got rid of Ronaldo, unlocked Rashford, briefly had them in a title race, won a trophy and had them top 3. Now, he can't do anything right (yet they're still top 6, no worse then when he came in, just 6pts back of City).
Of course it's not all Martial's fault, but Martial is emblematic of United's problems. He should've been sold years ago, along with a few others. He's still there because the club isn't serious about being competitive.
