Is there any preparation for the terracotta pot before you begin dotting? What black paint did you use? Also, did you seal it after you were done dotting?
Yes, you make sure to spray inside and out with clay pot sealer first. Base paint I use is folk art multi surface put black. And definitely seal it at the end. My favorite is krylon triple thick clear glaze.
