I love your laugh. I found a couch someone was throwing out and I took the leather off of it. What a project for my mandalorian build. I also do a lot of kit bashing and I save all the clear plastic packaging off everything I get they come in handy for making windscreens for my spaceships or anything for that matter. Love your channel.
Nice tutorial for beginners. Well-done. One helpful suggestion I might make is for you to use a thin version of the craft foam for your templates. It better reflects the leather thickness, so will help ensure your template measurements more accurately represent your design intentions. I do it all the time and greatly helped me reduce measuring 'accidents' :-D
For sure I will do that one day, I did buy a bunch of old video game guns that I'm going to modify but I know what you mean. Just buy a few interesting objects and create a prop. I did make props from stuff I bought at the supermarket so for sure it is in my wheelhouse! thx for engaging! Super Market Props: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-utwMg-NhnxM.html
They may have been leftover pieces from one of his previous builds. Do you know any electricians? I would probably just use industrial fuses. www.homedepot.com/p/GE-60-Amp-Cartridge-Type-Fuse-2-Pack-54226/203728033
I bought a tool belt from Lowe's and I've been trying to figure out how to dye it a dark color and to use the mink oil. I have to look around but would Michael's and Jo Ann's have the things I need for the dye and oil?
