Although the dictionary definition of 合作 is "cooperate" or "collaborate", I find that in Chinese, it is often not used in terms of a partnership, but in terms of business dealings in a client-vendor relationship. So 我们这次的合作太成功了 may be better translated as "our business dealings have been a complete success".
