Just found out you have passed away and flash backs on how much this song helped me through my process in life nay you be in the arms of the Jesus

I listened to this song on repeat while I was 8.5 months pregnant in ICU. Everyday for 12 days I told myself I was in God's hands and these words uplifted me after a friend sent it to me. I beat the odds, walked out of ICU and 2 weeks later I delivered a perfectly healthy baby girl. Since that day, I have chosen to devote my life to Christ and where He calls me, I go. I can't listen to this song without bursting into tears. He is so powerful and good. He is where the joy is.

Who still believe that Jesus is King in this crazy generation. Rest in Heaven Mandisa❤

When I had a stroke and going through physical therapy to be able to walk again I had this song on all the time. I needed the encouragement to keep going to do everything I could to keep going and not quit. I had to work hard to be able to walk again. Before I would get to physical therapy I would pray that God would give me the strength to work harder then I’ve ever worked in my life. And eventually I was able to walk again. I’m able to walk now. Then a few years later I got a phone call informing me that I had cancer. When I found out that they had the right diagnosis and the right person my thought was, OK God, how do we survive this together? In June I will be cancer free for 5 years. I had Burketts Lymphoma. After my 1st round of chemotherapy I had sepsis. I’ve survived a stroke, sepsis and cancer, all by the grace of God.

No one has mentioned that now she's with her best friend as well, who lost the battle to cancer. They are both reunited in the presence of Jesus! RIP 🤍🙌🏼

My wife Melanie of 5 1/2 years was killed 6 months ago after shots were fired at our home, one of which struck her while she was reading a bedtime Bible story to our 6-month-old. I now find myself a single father with two daughters (1 & 2 1/2 years old) at the age of 26. But despite the immense pain/loss I feel, I know God is good, faithful and worthy to be praised; even when I don't understand it. So instead of cursing or blaming Him, I choose to be like Job, saying "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord". This song is beautifully written and a wonderful reminder to never stop singing His praise! I attended a fellowship and met a famous person (if you're curious, you can look up Rainey Holt Qualley on the internet). Despite the fact that I had next to nothing to my name, she put me in touch with a firm that turned out to be pivotal. I owe it to God and to this woman to express my gratitude. I'd want everyone here to help me show my appreciation to her. I talk about her often and at every available occasion. This girl helped me overcome stage 4 stomach cancer. My chances were 5 to 10% of making it. Chemo and radiation treatments were unbearable and I went from 143 pounds to a triple 000.. at the unhealthy weight of 79 pounds. Man was I in pain. But I made this far. I was in my car earlier today listening to K-Love and I learned of Mandisa's passing. I saw her in concert several years ago at the Bellevue Christian Center in Bellevue, Nebraska and the song Overcomer is my all-time favorite. This song has really helped me through some dark times and I am so grateful to God and the world was truly blessed to have had the honor of listening to Mandisa's music and her beautiful voice. Rest in Heaven, Mandisa. May God wrap his arms around your family and friends and give them peace. You were truly a blessing to us all.

My house burnt down 2 days ago. I've fought through life's trials before, but I'm so lost. How is it that I have never heard of Mandisa before? Her voice and her glow is so uplifting. My wife of 36 years was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the Spring of 2022. After 7 chemotherapy sessions and a hysterotomy she is now in remission. I believe that Yahweh God uses physicians to heal because He has given them the intellect to perform such procedures.

There was once a couple who was waiting for a baby, this baby was just a little bean when the mother got very sick, and so the baby...The doctors said that one of them was going to die if not both. Prayers go up, blessings come down. Ladies and gentlemen, that little bean was the one who wrote all of this. God is Good.

I just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in April. Unfortunately he was born with CMV. A very dangerous infection for a fetus. I didn't even know about the virus until was born. He's profound deaf it ruined his hearing and doctors say he might have problems with his development later on in life. He had some brain damage. Fortunately, I believe in Jesus. My son will be a normal boy like any boy his age. I believe that in Jesus name !!

I beat Covid after 5 weeks of being so sick I couldn’t move. But I have a eye disease not the the Covid eye, I have vertigo and tinnitus, I have facial palsy and haven’t gotten my taste or smell back. But I’m still fighting with everything in me. I can’t walk right, see, hear, smile, taste, smell and I get confused but I will not give up a single part of me! I listen to this song every day, literally.

Many years ago I found this song while I was going through something difficult, and its lyrics, its message and Mandisa's gorgeous voice lifted my spirit up, and I said to myself, I can do this and I did, I went though it and I succeeded. Now, many years later I find myself at a low point in life again, and I learnt that Mandisa is no longer with us and my heart shrunk because I remembered this song and how it helped me though a storm. Wherever you are Mandisa, THANK YOU 🙏 for this song, you saved me...and I'm sure you're at peace and in paradise now. I went to church today and I sobbed in a quiet room feeling so drained and like the world was weighing me down, this came on my playlist while I had my earphones in and I danced. Everyday since I got poisoned many months ago, I don’t know whether to call myself an overcomer or so forth but I do thank God I’m still alive thus far. With that being said, I’ve come to understand more that a “real Christian” does not fear death because one is confident that they know that Christ has already conquered death! I’m eighteen and My dad just died yesterday I was just baby girl and this was his favorite song because a couple years ago he just lost his leg and had a prosthesis Now we know he’s at peace does he believed in God in heaven and I’ll see you Monday and then he’s always in my heart and soul always and forever

My cousin was run over by a dirt bike 6 years ago when he was 12. He had to go to the hospital for almost a year, and had to get a surgery done that no one under that circumstance had survived. They had to take out some of his organs and replace one in the back. I think he lost about 60% of his blood, and his heart stopped 2 or 3 times. He finally got out of the hospital and is doing great today!! He has a beautiful girlfriend, he's graduating this year, and just got a half baby brother☺️. God is AMAZING!!! I wish she knew what this song did in my life.... I was battling drug addiction and decided that I was tired of fighting what it seemed like I would never overcome... I decided to commit suicide. I loaded my sidearm and was driving to a remote location to kill my self. For some reason I turned the radio on and this song started playing... It was like God himself was speaking to me... I pulled over on the side of the road and cried and spoke to Jesus for hours. I gave my life to Jesus that day on the side of the road and have been clean every since... This song literally saved my life and has become my personal anthem.
