I'm 66 and this is one of the best songs I've ever heard

Song is full of fire…… amazing…. I keep coming back to listen and remember.

I have been watching too much news lately and got rather pessimistic about the world. This music is healing my heart.

I can listen to this song all day long and love it more each time. Thank you and great job.

I miss North Carolina. What a beautiful setting for this song that captures so clearly the central contradiction of American history. The Gyre structure corresponds so well to the historic content of each verse that it almost seems like it was made for the song, or the song for it. Anyway, all that aside--just a darn good song well done.
