I grew up listening to him all along. It was always a pleasure and never once found his music boring/ repetitive. It was unique, divine, creative and he took us to a different world. The world will never see another U Srinivas. Unfortunate for us, God liked him and called him back prematurely.
We have spent our beautiful childhood listening to U Srinivas Mandoline. We were blessed to have enjoyed his music throughout our upbringing. It was so shocking to hear that he not with us any more. He finished his concert in midway leaving us shocked. Neverthless his music will ring in our soul for many more years. Such was his impact on our soul. We only prey that Srinivas please take birth again on this earth, cause you havent finished your concert of filling music to our ears and soul.
Mesmerising Mohanakalyani that does magic in your heart and lingers forever. Homage to the peerless genius, who left us early. His music will live and enlighten for many many ages. 💐💐💐🙏🙏🙏
Bismillah Khan and Shehnai, Srinivas and Mandolin were made for each other. They were one of a kind. Hundreds may play the instrument now, following him, but we do not know when-or whether-we will get a Srinivas again! How cruel he was snatched away so early. He gave us all such delight; May he find peace at last! God bless his soul!
His disruptive Marriage was giving headaches althrough. which affected his children too. The lady in question never accepted Srinivas as a person of the World and a gift which get rare. Poor lass.
@@spiegelit-kochi8830 True, she was jealous woman. Also a veena player herself, she could get the fame he achieved. She tried to tag on to his success and wished he could give her opportunity along with him, he refused to pair with her as she was not at his skill. She was a daughter of an IAS officer in AIR with whose recommendation she got job there. Else she is a third rate musician. Father and daughter misused the marriage act to their advantage. He was gentle soul and took to alcohol unable to bear the treatment she gave her. All her life that woman got what she wanted and thereby destroyed his life. She could not thankfully destroy his music. He pinged for his son but alas, that devil she (thuuu on her....) never allowed him near his father
@@madhavkopalle Dont spew lies, he never touched alcohol in his life. He was an avatar of the good lord himself! If you don't know anything, better to keep your mouth shut!
Both legend were came to our city on Navarathri festival Till now the gap is not filled by anyone such a wonderful musicians no one can compare to them till date The way played Mandolim the Meaning is there no need of any Transalte. Pranamam
@@madhavkopalleThis is a wrong news. Mandolin Wizard's father Sathyanarayana never allowed his wife as a member of their family and never permitted his wife to sleep with him or to accompany him during his concert tours or performances and never permitted to with him on shoppings or tours etc. His father wanted him to be in his grip always. All the finances are vested with him and his family. His mother was a humble and good lady. Because his life tragedy, his mother passed away untimely. His father only took him to drinks and he himself arranged extra marital relations to Srinivas and ruined his personal life. That is why, Mandolin God deceased untimely due to Jaundice, that is malfunctioning of his liver. All his assets and money were amazed by his father and his siblings; thus deprived of his wife and son, which are due to them. Some paltry compensation given to his wife and son, at the time of his divorce with her. His father never allowed Srinivas's son to perform his late rites. His father only groomed Srinivas but he only ruined Srinivas's life. I knew Srinivas from his younger age and even arranged couple of his concerts and regular visitor of his concerts at Chennai.
Harikesanallur muthaiah bhagavathar who invented mohana kalyani raga knows pretty well that there will be one madurai mani iyer to sing and one srinivas will be there to play on mandolin.avathara purusharkal.
His selfish and devilish wife killed him and took his son away from him He was a gentle giant in a paradise of music. His wife was also a classical player but I think she was jealous of him and could never ever match him. They say she was horrendous and horrible woman.
Undoubtedly this is Mohanakalyani. A listener who had often heard Siddhivinayagam in Shanmughapriya perhaps developed a doubt on the raga of this piece. The other captivating krithi is Bhuwaneswariye by genius com;poser Harikesanallur
Nowhere i found Kalyani notes. I think it is mohana only. Please guide if i have mistaken or if I am right also then plz consent by your comments. We the land or the dwellers of this land i.e., india is really great b'coz it got gifted with such kind of artistes where they visualize god with their art and they make us to feel the divine bliss not simply represent their art or talent and U Srinivas is one among of them. We missed a gem really at a very tender age of his music. I pray God to give him very soon rebirth on india only with carry forward of his present music.
