Manduria is a relatively large city of about 30,000 inhabitants. It is located in the province of Taranto, in Puglia, Italy. In the middle of Salento, the region is rich in beaches and villages, some of which are listed as the most beautiful villages in Italy. Manduria is less than 10km from the western coast of the boot. You can visit the city and enjoy the beaches, such as Spiaggia Acquafredda, in the same day. There are even white flamingos near the Salina Dei Monaci!
