I know the feeling. I'm an amputee lost my left foot at 2yrs old from a bad shot of penicillin I walk on my ankle bone with a prosthetic and have been an over the road truck driver since 99. Handicapable indeed. Your only limit is that of your own making. I have 2 great kids and 2 grandchildren and a wonderful wife of 13 years. I love your reactions as one of the most likable and Honest reactions channels out there please keep up the good work.
Mandy Harvey is amazing, I have every CD she has released and adore everyone. This song Try is my anthem for when I am having a bad day from my health issues.
Mandy had to leave college because she was going deaf, so she was in a dark place for a while after that. One day, her father asked her to give a shot to singing a song. He left for work and she worked all day with a tuner app on her phone. When she messed up, she started over. Her thought, at that point, was that, when her father heard how bad it was, he would get off her back. He cae home and he sat and listened as she pushed through and did the song she'd been working on all day. When she looked up, her father was crying because he said how beautiful her singing was. They took a tape of that to her vocal coach, who said they could work on getting back to that form. See, her vocal coach thought the tape was from BEFORE she went deaf. After AGT, Mandy went on to produce two albums of all-original music, and she toured the world. For a second listen to Mandy, I would suggest a recent return to the AGT stage, when Mandy was invited to be a contestant on AGT: All-Stars 2023. From just last year, she performed another original song, "Something I Can Feel." A lot of her original songs are posted at her MandyHarveyVEVO, and a lot of her other performances are posted at her MandyHarvey RU-vid channel.
IT WARMS MY HEART TO SEE THERE'S MANY PEOPLE IN THE WORLD THAT DON'T PICK ON SOMEONE THAT HAS A DISABILITY. I'M GOING NEAR SEVENTY AND MY GRANDMA WENT DEAF WHEN SHE WAS THIRTEEN AND A VOICE LIKE ANGELES. I WORKED WITH KIDS THAT WAS BLIND AND THEY COULD KICK BUTT PLAYING BASKETBALL, JUST PUT MUSIC ABOVE THE NET AND THEY KNEW WHERE TO SHOOT. I HOPE YOU FELT INSPIRATION FROM THIS AND MAKE SOMETHING GOOD OUT OF NOT SO GOOD. SMILE BECAUSE YOU ONLY LIVE THIS ONE LIFE.. GREAT REACTION 🐦🐦🐦.
