Apparently according to the father, a few months after their child was born he received a package containing a kiddush cup with their child’s name engraved on it and a handwritten note from Mandy Patinkin 😊
I really love how the interview completely got derailed by the host's wife going in labor and not only does Mandy not mind, but he's constantly asking about the baby.
Mandy Patinkin, a man who acted alongside Andre the Giant in one of the most beloved movies of all time: *THIS IS THE MOST EXCITING THING THAT’S EVER HAPPENED TO ME!* 😃
it's really telling how he really doesn't give a damn about his show and can't concentrate on the promotion of it anymore. he's really a beautiful human being!
Such a nice NICE man. He just isn't willing to be derailed from the baby back to himself. He answers only what he has to while showing that he'd really rather be talking baby. That man knows what is truly important. ❤️❤️❤️
I rewatched this vid and I love it so much! Mandy is so frankly excited and happy and the poor lady tries SO hard to make him talk about himself but he is too enthusiastic about the guy and his baby. Wonderful vid!
I'm trying to picture Saul breaking out into an excited outburst like this on the show... "Carrie, you've decided to run away with Brody? OH MY GOD! Isn't this exciting? How thrilling! We're having a baby!"
already had great respect and awe of Mandy Patinkin, This is such a great interview! and now considering a tv binge watch of Homeland after watching this interview.
Great interview, even before the baby so rudely interrupted it,( lol). I love the multi talented Mandy Patinkin & he somehow puts some invisible hat on and truly becomes "Saul" every week. AND MY HEARTFELT CONGRATS TO THE NEW PARENTS. "12-12-12 Play Lotto". What NYC reaction. Love it! 💙
I love how excited Mandy gets when he finds out the other reporter is going to have a baby! He said that’s the most exciting thing that has happened to him! I love his joy! Awe!
I read in Twitter that about a couple of weeks later, the reporter h his wife received a package from Mr. Patinkin: An engraved small silver cup. What a guy!
Aww man! I was trying not to fall in love with him but then I went and clicked on this... Patti LuPone is so blessed to have him as her platonic soul mate.
i wonder how if it's hard for Mandy to play Saul they have such opposite personalities. I saw an interview of the actress who plays Dr. Melfi on the sopranos saying it took so much for her to get in character and play such a reserved person bc she is the complete opposite. i wonder if it's the same for Mandy
