I love this song so much. It is written in the way like an older self talking to a younger self and asking questions, are you going to choose money or love? good or evil? will you go towards the light or go to the darkside? Will you take responsibility or blame others? Will you stay true to yourself? I am writing these thigs to you now before it is too late, but for now you're only 20 years old. I love that line also "explaining colors to those who see in balck and white" how does he do that? He has a true poet's heart and an old soul. Some of the most amazing lyrics I have ever heard were written by this very young man.

The first time I heard this song Maneskin were still famous only in Italy. I was moved and found it… ridiculously embarrassing. My twenties are now just a distant memory, but Damiano's words made me go back to that time, made up of confused and angry determination and childish conviction of my exceptional ability to understand the world, which I certainly wanted in colour, while I divided good from evil without nuances. 😁Like many young people, I think. And certainly like Damiano then. No, Damiano doesn't explicitly want to educate others, he pretends to be an older self writing to a younger self.

Love this, it's one of the rare times Damiano played a guitar on stage. He did rhythm guitar on this song a few times, but he's clearly not entirely comfortable playing while singing, so they removed that part in more recent performances of the song. (in fact he claims he can't play guitar, which is just him being way too critical on himself, they're all that way, the only one of them whom they think is acceptable on another instrument than his own, is Ethan, who's bass playing is seen as good enough ;-) )

I’m sure they only got hate because not all people understand their creativity, their lyrics, their looks … their beliefs!!! It’s quite something to take in. They’re not exactly average…. They are BRILLIANT!!!!

Ciao ... Come sempre adoro le reazioni ai Måneskin 😍 ci pensi che Damiano ha scritto questa canzone quando aveva circa 16/18 anni ( non ricordo bene ma era giovanissimo ) eppure aveva gia un concetto cosi profondo in mente ... Davvero poetico . 💋💋

Have this song to my daugther for her 20th birtday.. by taking her to the concert in Rome last year. My favorite line in this song: "Sarai qualcuno se resterai diverso dagli altri" ;You'll just be someone if you stay different from the others. I am to scared to get a tattoo otherwise this line would be it! I had it sewed on my fan-jacket insteat 😇
