They should have did a quick little followup on what happened to her afterwards to show what she said totally backfired. Like, she was already getting shunned at work, maybe that eventually caused her to quit and unable to get a new job and resorted to the nightlife for a job. Just thought that the story should have showned in the end who actually was the one who regretted.

I overall enjoy these types of manga romance dub videos but I’m getting annoyed with seeing a particular writing trope that I’ve seen frequently in other videos. Whenever there’s a breakup if the mc is a adult and works in the corporate, the woman cheats and breaks up or just breaks up with the mc for the most selfish and reprehensible reasons usually involving money, being boring, etc and then later in the video, the ex tries to get the mc because they reached some type of success which is usually financial or some other metric. By then, the mc manages to find a new girlfriend that’s more kinder and committed to them then the ex, and the mc or new girlfriend just tells the ex that she’s a terrible person and the ex walks away in defeat. Now I understand women can break up with guys for the pettiest reasons but breakups usually don’t happen like that, since most people aren’t that shallow and vain. Like yes it does happen in real life but not as frequently as in these video dubs. This writing cliche seems kinda lazy to me and I wish these videos would try something different like they broke up because they had different goals, they lived too far apart, or even something that the mc did that caused the relationship to falter. I’m not saying the writers have up the quality of their story on the level of 5 cm per second or Tsukigariel, but it would be refreshing to see them to do different things involving breaking up and forming relationships. These videos are good entertainment overall and they have the potential to grow even more, I just feel that certain tropes they reuse in these videos downgrades the story quality and they could appeal to more people if they made their stories more nuanced and complex.
