Hi Robert, thank you for your comment and feedback. Yes, the Camel does have a higher price. But it actually has a lower price than many other patient lift systems on the market. Especially when considering that the Camel is portable and can lift up to 700 lbs. These two features offer many the opportunity to live independently and free from contacting emergency services after every fall. This functionality and its price set it apart from the other more cumbersome, permanent and costly patient lifts. Robert, have you ever had to be lifted off the floor by one? I don't think you could have or you wouldn't say a waste of money. I've been lifted three times by similar ones from an ambulance but they are not always near.
