Ingredients:
2 cups of tapioca pearls (sago)
1 cup of condensed milk
1 cup of evaporated milk
1 cup of full-fat milk
1 pack of heavy cream or tetra pack cream
2 large ripe mangoes, peeled and cubed
Optional: Digestive biscuits or tea cake for garnish
Recipe:
Boil the tapioca pearls or sago in water for 15 minutes until they become tender and translucent.
After boiling, switch off the flame and cover the pot with a lid. Let the tapioca pearls sit for 10 minutes to allow them to become fully cooked through.
Strain the cooked tapioca pearls and rinse them with cold water to prevent sticking. Set them aside.
In a blender or mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of evaporated milk, 1 cup of condensed milk, 1 cup of cream, and 1 cup of full-fat milk. Blend or mix until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Peel the mangoes and cut them into small cubes.
Now it's time to assemble the dessert! In serving bowls, layer the mango cubes, tapioca pearls, and the creamy mixture. Gently mix them together.
Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
After 2 hours, your chilled and delightful Mango Bango is ready to be enjoyed! For an extra touch, sprinkle some crushed digestive biscuits or tea cake on top for added texture and flavor.
