Serves 2
Equipment Used:
NutriBullet Blender, but any blender will work.
KitchenAid Artisan Mixer and Ice Cream Maker
Ingredients:
400g Frozen Mango chunks or 2 Ripe fresh Mangoes
200ml Simple Syrup (Video on how to make this coming soon)
1 Lemon (Juiced)
Instructions.
1) 24 Hours prior to making the sorbet, place the ice cream maker bowl in the freezer, you will want to get this as cold as possible.
2) Partly thaw the Mango chunks and juice the Lemon into a cup.
3) Place the Mango in the blender cup and blend for 30 seconds.
3) Remove from the blender and add the 200ml simple syrup and 2Tbsp of the juiced Lemon.
4) Blend again for 30 seconds, remove and shake and blend again for another 30 seconds to ensure a lump free texture.
5) Pour into the ice cream maker bowl and churn on the lowest speed for 15 minutes.
6) Remove from the bowl and either serve immediately or transfer to an air tight container to place in the freezer for storage or to firm up for a couple of hours depending on your preference. Be sure to cover the sorbet with a piece of plastic wrap to stop ice crystals forming on the top.
