This is just incredible. The police had been to the house of the shooters on several occasions for the same dispute. At what point didn’t they realize the shooter is unstable.

If this guy doesn't get a deaths sentence I don't know what to say about this justice system.

I live in Cleveland just miles from this. My own neighbors would shoot their guns outside, bullets would fly past our house, we'd call the sheriff, they'd ask them to stop and then leave, shooting continues, call sheriff a second time, and they just ignored us. They have a blatant disregard for people's safety, and it was only a matter of time.

This is tragic. I wish if the victims could have recorded their criminal neighbour and called the police instead of confronting him. It's always dangerous to confront someone who has a gun.

If he made it across the border and is apprehended in Mexico, they will not extradite him unless they have a guarantee that the death penalty is taken off the table. They did this with the Caesar Laureen case in NC.

This is why it's so IMPORTANT to have fast access to a gun in your home.

This dude was deported three times. Likely someone with clean record that cartel uses to make legal gun purchases here and send the firearms across the border. He also could be a federal informant, since he keeps getting back into the country.

It blew my mind when I heard that in Texas you can walk out into your yard and just start shooting your gun around. I don't know how anyone could feel safe in that environment. It's nuts!

Who approaches an intoxicated person that is firing a gun in their front yard? That's the top of my list of things I don't do. Call the cops. They came after everyone got shot so they would have come earlier. Just say he is pointing a weapon even if he isn't. If they don't come, then shoot him instead of talking to him. It's clearly been an ongoing problem, why live that way? Eliminate the threat proactively. Is that normalized behavior where they come from or is that just Texas?

That's one of the craziest stories I've heard. He just told him to stop shooting so it wouldn't wake the baby so he decides to go murder the whole family and even a child! So terrible I hope they put him under the prison!

Something I’ve learned from cases like these is, never ever have beef with your neighbors. They know exactly where you live, & you just never know what’s going on in their minds. May all of them Rest In Peace. I pray for those children & hope they bring him to justice. He deserves to pay for what he did.

I live in Texas about 2 hours south of where this happened, I live out in the country, and like the lady they interviewed, I hear gun shots all of the time. It is very normal to us in South Texas. Doesn't mean we enjoy it, its just the norm for us. I speak for alot of Texans who want stricter gun laws. It's getting ridiculous. There are too many psychos with guns who obtain them legally. Infact someone was shooting at something yesterday. I cannot see who is shooting. All I can tell is the direction it's coming from and the noise carries across a big corn field. I just stay inside my home. They're most likely not doing anything dangerous just practicing something. But it still makes me nervous. During Dove season, the gun shooting is unbearable for my dog. He cries and hides under the bed for days. It's sad.😔 God Bless the Families.... this is a horrible tragedy that could've been avoided.
