@@aerowanderer The last time I fly with Lufthansa was in 2007 on the Airbus A340-600 from Manila to Frankfurt via Guangzhou and I really admire the professionalism of its flight crew the sad reality is that there are no direct flights to Europe, hopefully others like Air France could soon return to Manila also Finnair is a welcome addition flying direct from Helsinki Vantaa.
@@dennis12dec What a beautiful aircraft the A340-600 is. Absolutely man. I hope the same. But I think before the foreign carriers, PAL would restart European ops once they start receiving the A350-1000.
@@aerowanderer I'm in favor of European Airlines resume their direct flights to Manila this means more competition and better in-flight services given the appalling quality of the in-flight services of both PAL and CEB based on the travel experiences of my family and friends who flew with them.
@@aerowanderer I'll be heading to France 🇫🇷 in December via Air France on Premium Economy from Hong Kong to Paris Charles De Gaulle and witness the reopening of the world famous Cathedral de Notre Dame restored after being destroyed by fire in 2019 and taking the scenic cruise along the River Seine, Bonjour Paris 🗼 and hopefully soon Air France will soon fly directly to Manila from Paris Charles De Gaulle, Bonne Chance.

It can be a great airline if your flying the newer A321neos A330s and A350s with the updated cabins. I think they excel in the onboard service, catering. A lot of times they pass around amenity kits even if the flight is 5 hrs so, it can be good. They’re dealing with an aircraft shortage right now so there are a lot of cancellations and delays which messes with their bottom line, but I think they’ve been improving the last few years
You're not missing anything. It's a garbage airline. Maybe you like sticky seats and everything on a plane but it's not for me. Oh and leg room, what leg room?

As much as MNL has quite a bad rep, I’m glad the few times I’ve used the airport, it wasn’t as bad as it is labelled to be. With plane spotting, quite a cool place to spend time watching planes😀
Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) should be replaced to Philippine International Airport (PIA), because it's name was from the previous president Ninoy Aquino or build another bigger airport that will be named Philippine International Airport. That would be cool!
