After my boyfriend, Sahara Davenport's success on the show, I decided to audition and pick up where she left off! Enjoy! Also watch the RuPaul's Drag Race Casting Special here: www.logotv.com/...
Manila's Imelda Marcos impersonation is hysterical. "Por towsand and eleben shoes". All my Filipina friends at work laughed their asses off when I showed them.
Manilla captures the feistiness and ingenuity of downtown NYC before the island was entirely bought up by Investment bankers. She's an artist--gets better and better. She may be an L.A. Gurl now, but as Frank said of New York, "If I can make it there/ then I can make it anywhere."
"It's a comfort to know when you're getting the 'hit the road' blues, that anywhere else you can possibly go after New York will be... a pleasure cruise."
Wow.. Amanda Lear in Italy had a great career, she sing in Italian too, she had a great collaboration with a punk Italian band called CCCP.. Look at this songs... I think you can love this, cause you have a great sensibility.. I'm totally in love with you and with your character.. ❤️
Love Manila ! I feel like she deserves more recognition than she gets. She's incredibly beautiful and does not rely on her beauty. So funny and talented. Love you Manila ! ( As Karl, such a beaut as well! )
That "top" ramen package drag was everything and phuckin yum!..made me seriously hungry for ramen but the fact that she chose "top" ramen was she trying to tell us she is a top like Morgan McMichael's?!?!? LMFAO!!
Manila I love you!!! I just finished watching all of rpdr seasons and you are my favorite queen! You and Katya deserve a crown! Wait no even without one you are royalty!
I love you Manila! By the far the best Drag Queen to have graced Rupaul's Drag Race, I've had you in my top three from the beginning. A contender for the crown, you're going to blow everyone out of the water.
Wow! What an impressive audition tape. Manila is gorgeous, funny, fabulous and had a quirky elegance about her. Loved Raja but I preferred Manila for sure. Such a shame about Sahara passing. I’ve only been binge watching all 12 seasons of stage race (have yet to watch All Stars) the past few weeks and I have to say Sahara seemed like one of the most beautiful, kind and gentle queens of all seasons. Such a shame she passed so young but it’s great that she left such a lasting impression and that Manila/Karl has found love again. Not a big fan of all the bitchiness there’s a way to be funny without being malicious and all the insecurity and drama the producers prey on to create conflict is something I fast forward past cause I’d rather just enjoy all the beauty, glamour and humour. The contestantsshouod just just focus on bettering themselves and running their own race rather than get sucked into the cycle of bitchiness and cattiness. They’re better than that.
You are fabulous! I've been binge watching all of the beautiful queens from the show & you are a wonderful perfomer! Your passion & creativity is mesmerizing. Come to Charlotte, NC honey! You would blow it up! ✌&💖
I really hope, you will reach the top three in Rupauls All Stars!!! You look so beautiful AND you are absolutely funny! When my boyfriend showed me an episode of Rupauls Drag Race it was an episode from the third season and I became as addicted as he already was.
Ah so that's where the name Manila comes from, the Philippines. I don't know why but I always thought it referred to vanilla (maybe cause of the signature blonde hair streak), with the m from man as a reference to drag.
Manila you are my favorite contestant by FAR....you've got the ferocity of past contestant Raven but with just the right attitude. Wish I could come party with you someday. Good luck on the show and in all your future endeavors...much love.
I’m interested in seeing audition tapes of queens who did t make it on the show x see what they lacked or what season they tried to get on and what persona they would’ve fit in vs which queen was actually picked
Manila, you have inspired me to not give a damn about what people say, and to speak my mind. You are an inspiration to me, and countless other women, men, girls, and boys, whether they be straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, or transgender. Thank you.
I love who you are and what you do, but what I loved the most was your introduction: "I'm twenty nmfnm years old..." hahahahaha I'm cracking up. Hugs from Spain!
Manila Luzon at first time i didnt like but i need to be honest i think you are gonna WIN ,for some reason you are getting better so creative each week i wish you the best . GOOD LUCK ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ waves Mexico¡¡¡
