I have goosebumps every time this Mayor talks about his plans. He is well verse and he knows about the history how some countries transformed from an impoverished country to a well established and industrialized place. He has a great vision for Manila and if ever he succeed with his plans; there is a big possibility of him to be a president and transform our beloved country to rise again. And someday we Filipinos won’t have to go outside of our country to work and be away from our families.

I always admired Singapore as well. Such a small country that holds one of the most powerful passport and financial sector in the world. Sure, we will not attain what Singapore achieved as a country. But at least as a country we're trying to raise the bar for our own people. Let's be better so we don't need to go outside of our country just to seek financial stability for our families back home.
We have lived in Singapore due to an IT job contract for more than a year...it is quite difficult for Manila to become Singapore due to the following reasons...it is located in an equator so it only rains but no typhoons...it is smaller than Manila so budget-wise...it is a financial hub for all the biggest banks in the world...he should make a lot of bliss type buildings(they say the HDB Housing idea was borrowed from Mrs.Marcos) for the poor of Manila as they have gated Private Condos for those with higher incomes...they have a lots of tourists/expats.as they kept on reinventing new tourism ideas and not necessarily old tourist spots...they have more designer brands than local brands...Chinese people whom 90% of their population are entrepreneurial in nature...some businesses like their transport system such as bus/MTR and supermarkets of the same name scattered all over are state-owned...and my last observation is they are called "fine city" as it has a double meaning like it is really a fine city but it fines for its citizens consist of heavy fines...for example for gum chewing...some fines even include caning(beat them with bamboo stick for many times)...since dengue is also rampant in Singapore for example, when one time a friend left a toy of his kid with water in it outside the condo they were fined 500 Sing Dollars...I think this would be difficult to implement in Manila...

I think number one that contributes to poverty is yung pag aanak ng marami, tapos hindi naman natututustusan yung pangangailangan ng bata, it ended up na pagkatapos ng high school, well milagro na ang makatapos ng High School and then hindi na mag co college dahil walang pera, it becomes a privilege for some it's a status symbol and i felt that coz' I've been in that situation na hindi ka makakapag college kase wala ka nang pera pang bayad ng tuition.
