Manipulative Madness in the News, Part 1 (Classroom Physical Activity Breaks) 

Janet Fendos and her class at Forest Home Elementary demonstrate this activity break, which has students using newspapers and performing various locomotor skills and games with them. Part 1 has classroom management activities and a find-your-seat game with a newspaper.
Grade Level: 3-8
Addresses Physical Education Standard 1: "Demonstrates competency in motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activities."
Requires: Newspapers, 1 page for each student
