Cyclone Remal lasted full 2 and a half days in Bangladesh alone. It also affecting the manipur which is too far from the coast. How it retains Its strength there? This cyclone Remal lasted very long. That's very rare. Also it is not a cyclone there, just a depression there.

Manipur govt. can foresee this disaster & tried to stop mass deforestation in hilly areas especially poppy plantations. This leads to unwanted ethnic violence.

Is there any place left with trees , u dnt even know how the valley people meiteis or tribals destruct the environment leaving nothing and now we are teaching the hill people not to cut trees. Lack of drainage system is one of the main reasons. Its not that heavy of a rainfall. Also, construction of unnecessary dams everywhere and mass deforestation for poppy plantation.

Whenever I read the comments we are all blaming each others for the destruction of environment. Valley people meiteis or tribals blame the hill people for the disasters due to deforestation thats true, hill people should maintain the environment as much as possible. And what about the valley people, are we aware that we are left with no trees, we cleared everything , so it wud be wise to understand that safeguarding the environment is not just a responsibility for hill people and destruction is not only done by hill people. So everyone is responsible for the destruction. So without blaming each other now lets all unite to plant more trees, let govt, ngo , student bodies and different organizations and in general the public take some civic responsibility this time to make a better place to live. Lets start today, I cant bear the heat anymore , everywhere heatwaves are killing us. Delhi with high temperature and water crisis. In the entire world this kind of disasters are happening this shows God Almighty is punishing for their sins. All the best Manipuris learn to live loving each other and do not kill fellow human beings in the name of religion and dont become rakshas.

If you kindly know about sanatana dharma and first of all start reading Bhagwat Gita to know the reasons for our present problems. In Bhagwat Gita BhagwanSri Krushna had preached us to live life of Dharma (righteousness)as is said by Jesus Christ in Bible. A true Hindu or Christian will not do what had the people of Manipur have done. Be a good Christian by loving all and not committing sins( illegal) actions so also Bhagwan Sri Krishna said the same.
