@@garrettkrenzler3091 it gets repetitive at some point tho, the only difference is that it doesn't feel like you're going through endless corridors and chambers and there's an actual plot on it.
Dude went through those sewers and actually thinks this 😭 the dungeon design isn’t bad but it’s nothing special, I actually think the dungeon with the eye statues is the most clever one
TBF to the people that might think that, the Rhodes keyboard Meguro used in this track does make it sound like it could fit in nicely with P5's OST This track is definitely more moody than a lot of stuff in P5 though
Meguro also confirmed he will still be working with ATLUS, just as a freelancer now. But even still, we have Kozuka and more talent is sure to join the team at some point, as it is tradition with MegaTen.
Meguro was always a member of the Atlus Sound Team, it was never a solo gig. Plenty of composers and sound artists have worked on the franchise's games over the years, and many of them have served as main composers on other games, such as Devil Summoner, Devil Survivor, and OG SMT. In fact, Tsukasa Masuko was the main composer for the first Megami Tensei games, Meguro joined the crew by P1. Kenichi Tsuchiya is another name, composing certain tracks here and there, and ending tons of work as sound engineer. In fact, he composed Steel Coffin, from this very game.
